Going through roughly 3 gallons a week of 6.1-6.3 ph water added more clips and tied down more branches besides on the freakshow thinking of switching to flower next week due to the tent only being 5 feet and goal is to get 3 3 ft plants

Okay..I see a lot of opinions here. They all have their merits But, really, it will all depend on your pot size. Substrate & heat, (co2 levels also. But that's a whole other ball game) Giving your plant 10% of the pots value. Really doesn't work with all varies stages of growth and plant size. Also heat, evaporation and light spectrum and speed of growth will determine this. So, there really is no set limit, as all phenos need dif stuff. Also, if your plant is having trouble taking in nutrients, or locked out. The last thing you want to do is feed jst water as the nutes will be left behind and the plant will just take up the water. (Adding issues that compound when you have it solved either from salt burn r excess N) so, with everything going well. So, you want to feed when your plant needs it. Not going by days r amounts as they will be determined by the plants needs. As for the top drying in. Yes, that can be a guide to to by. But, if your tent is hot the top soil will dry in regardless of the plants liquid uptake..(evaporation) lifting your pot up along with the top been dried in, will give you an idea of your pots water contents. A sign of light run off from the bottom is something you get when you're crop steering. Just from a few 100ml you'll see water pissing out the end, or just a small amount means your sub is completely dried or getting to that point. This is pushing your plant in flowering to dig deep into your plant and pushes bud expansion making the plant push more for energy. (You'll find a journal on here about it crop steering its when you see that, water coming from the bottom). Pour at dif points of your pot to make roots to in search for moisture this will promote root expansion therefore giving you more growth on top. Doing this early on will help the plant move and grow quicker as opposed to completely wetting the soil (what i use to do so do a lot, and growth is good) but from doing a good few grows. It really comes down to the efficency of your plant and environment. If you find one day pot is drying out really quick it possibly means your plant is just taking water and leaving nutes behind. A good way to go to avoid this is by feeding a good npk feed in soil once a wk r 2 lower npk feed ( same value of ppm) and then follow up with water feeds. So, there is no set amount to give but just guides to follow. And its you who takes these guides and adds them to the pheno/plant as needed Feel free to mes me or anyone here who answers and we can expand more with details from yourself Good luck
