10/28 F1- Got home late friday night so I didnt set the timer for a 12/12 until last night making today the first official day of flower!!!!! Checked on the girls this morning and they were very dry again so I gave them an extra heavy watering of just water until it was pooling up in the drip trays, emptied the excess water out of the drip trays. Pulled a couple fan leaves off the top to help with light penetration. Im very excited to see what happens now. _____________________________________________________________________________________ 10/29 F2- Spent some time with the girls this morning its really incredible how much they have grown since I defoliated them 2 weeks ago, they have become massive bushes that have filled out again. I will definitely need to defoliate again but I want to wait until buds start to form so I know what I shouldn't pull and what I should. Next watering we begin the bloom nutrient and I figure at that point I will really start to see bud development and know better what leaves they will need for energy production and which leaves are just going to be a drain on energy. I also am waiting to see how my clone takes to the soil so that I know if I can cut any off the existing shoots to clone for my next round or if I need to get some rooting hormone and go about it that way for better success, im on a budget so if I can get this to work it would be ideal but I dont want to take all my cuttings and then have none of them root and lose these genetics. Right now he clone is looking really droopy but it still has some rigidity left in the leaves and its been a whole week in the soil now, I keep spraying it with water every day and making sure the soil stays moist so hopefully over the next week I will see it perk up and know that this is a success (knock on wood). Obviously no buds yet but I can definitely see the preflowers opening up more and showing some little pistils im guessing around the end of this week ill start to be able to see something the more closely resembles budding. Hopefully getting a new fan today so that I can have something taller and oscillating so we can get the air moving around the canopy more. I also need to devise a way to hangmy light on a different orientation so that it can better cover the plants canopy, I can really see why people use a method like topping and LST when growing indoors because it allows for your bud sites to get the best light saturatuion possible since the canopy ideally grows up to the same height. This first grow has already been an incredible learning experience and I am already planning my next one. Cant wait to see how this finishes up and how the next one goes now that I have some more practical knowledge of how the process works Thinking about running some feminised SweetTooth from Barney's and maybe a clone off of these girls for my next round but we will see if I like how these finish up. ______________________________________________________________________________________- 10/30- Went down after work today and my outtake fan was was off because the speed controller was turned down too far. The humidity in the room was outrageous! 89% humidity; enough to cause condensation to build up on the walls of the tent when I opened it. I immediately turned the fan up and was able to vent to humidity, I was surprised at how well they handled the humidity. Starting to see some stretching in flower but not much yet. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ 11/01- Wow lots of stretching so far from #3! These girls are really starting to show their genetics now, #1 is much smaller, has much tighter nodes and much wider leaf fingers than #3, #3 on the other hand has begun to stretch really far and is significantly bigger than #1. The internodes are still fairly tight but not as much so as #1. Since it was bag seed and I don't know what strain the paternal genetics were, Im not sure what kind of cross these girls are. At this point it looks like I'm going to have one (#3) representing the sativa side of the genetics and one (#1) that is representing the indica side of the genetics. Very excited to see how the buds start stacking up and even more excited to smoke it and see if these traits carry all the way through to the effects and if they are consistent with the way they look now. #3 was feeling really light so I hit her with some FFBigBloom for the first bloom feeding! she drank it right up and I am interested to see how this impacts the growth rate. #1 still felt pretty heavy after the watering a few days ago so I left her alone and I will water her when she is ready, so far #1 has been drinking about half as much as #3 so this is to be expected. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 11/02- Im starting to notice a lot of crowding going on with each plant. They have gotten really dense and bushy and Im noticing fan leaves are starting to cover the bud sites. Since they have done some stretching already i think I am going to do some defoliation soon. My hope is that by defoliating I can get the plants to pump energy into the cola buds and really plump them out instead of putting energy into the little popcorn buds. Probably going to defoliate tomorrow.

@HighTV, Thanks for checking in!! I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes with this one since it's my first grow but this strain has been extremely forgiving and has been a fantastic one to learn on. I definitely want to run this strain again but next time I really want to get some actual Kens GDP from Seedsman instead of running bag seed. If mine comes out looking anything like yours Im going to be a very happy guy!

It turned out to be a mite called hypoaspis miles. I thought they were spider mites and spent like two weeks trying to kill them until I found out that they were beneficial and kill fungus gnats haha
