This one is going to be weirdly exciting like all grows… but nothing beats growing strain you know nothing about down to to it’s ID. This is why this diary is dubbed Unknown Strain, and a lot more journals will be dubbed unknown strain. eg. Unknown Strain #1 - these strains are seeds I’ve collected and forgot to catalogue Unknown Strain (dealer/grow name #1) - I have it this way,to indicate where or from whom did I get the seed, but failed to get the accurate information regarding the strain. Alike this particular diary. I received seeds from my friend saplug16.20_exotic_genetics. Check out his work on instagram, his my mentor in growing. But I go overboard when it comes to growing. Ever since I’ve seen YouTube videos of growers growing weed plants like bonsais, I started growing my plants like I am growing actual bonsais, LST them in shapes and size while using defoliation and topping to achieve aesthetics. This type of growing is not focused on yield more for the hobbyist who grows for themselves and close friends. But I want to see if I can get more yield with this type of growing bud.

This brave lady has gone through more stress than the others… however I have been spoiling her with nutrients, but going forward I will be allowing her to recover and grow for a whole month. I don’t want to shock her to a point of trauma… she’s growing slowly but surely she will be amazing.

My beautiful runt, is showing slow healthy progress, I do not want to change anything, because I might unbalance things, no use in fucking up a good this, the grow medium is working, I must expect this rate of growth due to this amount of stress from defoliation when it was relatively a seedling. But these bonsai size babies pack a punch in the end, I cannot wait for flowering to begin, I am going to dose her with my liquid compost, I read about honey been another nutrition supplement, I’ll have to give it a try, but I am going to only use honey as an all in nutrition supplement. I always ask myself if I group hard waste into the 3 sisters Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorus would my plants be healthier and grow quicker and bigger.

My choice of grow medium at this point seems to be spot on, I am holding my breath looking for signs of weakens and besides not really watering this week, this medium retain water well, does not clog up like normal soil, I love how the pig manure acts like pebbles and it retains those pebble balls though watering erodes the manure, it helps with air flow within the root system, and the added plus is I turn the soil, almost on a daily to make sure it’s always, fluffy and moist, not wet and clogging soil. Unknown alike Monday nee an operation, just need to buy a bag of compost so I can elevate them so the can get better airflow, plus I do not want to poke hole in their pots, though I am going to stress them out badly, I will get to see how good my homemade nutrient boost works. Regardless of this con, Unknown is growing with a lot of promise, let me hope and be patient that my LST will encourage that required new growth.

Believe or not, this baby just started flowering, I think my decision to defoliate will bare results, like how lamb’s breath turns out. She’s the last to flower but she’s one of the first plants I planted, it took longer than I expected to start flowering,

Though Unknown Strain’s pot is not as full as I filled the other four strains, Monday’s Blue too shares the same soil make up and pt being filled half way. Unknown is going to show me it’s true identity by end of this month, the defoliation will hinder growth, regard less, over doing it will stunt your baby’s growth and development.

Having problems with uploading videos lately, I hope I am not the only one, anyways, just need to talk to tech support and stop being lazy… Unknown Strain, she as I mentioned in Monday’s Blue’s post of her vigorous growth, the other thing is they both have the least medium content, the pots are not filled to the brim alike the other 4 ladies’ pots(Mexican Peach Punch, Cherry Gorilla, Super Skunk and Lamb’ Breath). Only poured about 10lt of soil in a 20lt pot or bucket. However I am seeing better recovery, development and healthy growth. The rest are showing, developing new growth however drastically slower than Unknown Strain(SA Plug Edition) and Monday’s Blue.

This one has me confused, she seems to be stuck on the first week of flowering, while she revegs she seems to love defoliation or like Monday’s Blue she is in good grow medium, because Blue and Unknown share the same grow medium, she really surprised me how far she has grown, she is one of my tallest lady with less soil 2nd to Blue. The crazy part is she got a heavy trim before leaving for a month, then I defoliated again and a High Stress one, when I got back, she recovered and forced me again to give her another defoliating session a heavy one to add,and had to do it because she was depriving Mexican Peach Punch with light, resulting in her having an even bud development, one side grows faster than the other. I hope this trim will force her to focus on bud development.

The craziest strain, this one ever since she started flowering all she has been doing is going in and out of reveggin and flowering, she has even out grown everyone, and the craziest part, is that she uses less grow medium than all the other ladies, I should expect late January harvest, my fear is her not been able to support her buds, as tall as she is, I think I should waiting and see.

Unknown Strain SA PLUG Edition, herself and Monday's Blue, are the oldest trees, and yet they have not finished flowering, the seasonal change is to blame. It to boosts skinny stems, but I am more intrigued in how she's going to support her buds.

Besides her twiggy stature, she’s a good high, very fruity in scent, feed back from a friend, after smoking a joint he felt mellow, he loved that it’s not harsh on the throat, very smooth, and for a person who smokes weed with tobacco, he finds himself smoking clean green when smoking it. I forgot to create a questionnaire, but with the new cycle that will be prioritised. I cannot take his opinion as the gospel truth, I need more feedback.
