Popped taproot after 24 hours in a shot glass of dechlorinated tap water covered with foil, stored in the turned-off oven with the oven light on. Waited another 12 hours. Planted in 5 gallon fabric pots. 30ml 6.15pH dechlorinated tap water. Covered with plastic cups with holes cut in them and placed in tent under light. ProMix HP soil. Plan to move outdoors in pot once sprouted.
This is the only strain of the 4 seeds I popped that survived my mistakes (too warm for germination and zipped up their ziplock bags so they had no air). Bravo, Seedsman!
Day 1 - 7-28-23, just sprouted (3 days from taproot). Removed humidity dome and sprayed with pH 6.15 water, no nutes yet (Pro Mix HP soil).
Day 4 - 7-31-23, spraying 2-3x per day with 6.2pH dechlorinated tap water. Tent this morning was 64% humidity, 81F. Added a humidifier with distilled water. Clamp fan running, no inline fan yet.
Day 5 - 8-1-23, 82F, 66% humidity. Watered half a liter mostly around the outside with a splash near the center, 6.2pH plain water.
Day 6 - 8-2-23, 84F, 68% humidity. Misted top of soil in the morning with 6.2pH plain water.
Day 7 - 8-3-23, same conditions. Grow, buddy, grow! I have not yet saturated the full pot of soil. Debated doing it today but the top is holding water pretty well so I just misted it. I am paranoid of overwatering.
Day 8 - 8/4/23 (Week 2 Day 1) - Increased lights to 345 ppfd. Gave her the first full-pot soak, 1 gallon of pH 6.2 dechlorinated tap water with a quarter dose of nutrients, 1-.5-.5 ml General Hydroponics Flora Micro-Grow-Bloom liquid nutes. Tent is 84F at 70% humidity.
Day 10 - 8/6/23 (Week 2 Day 3) - WOW - a little nutes and more light and this girl went wild! Top of soil is still a little damp so I did not water today.
Day 11 - 8/7/23 (Week 2 Day 4) - Pot still heavy and soil still a little damp. Did not water. Same tent conditions.
Day 12 - 8/8/23 (Week 2 Day 5) - Watered 1 gallon with nutes which was a little heavy as there was some runoff (ppm 220 on the runoff). Started my week 3 nutrient schedule since she seems to take them really well. 1ml Cal Mag, 2ml-1ml-1ml Flora Micro-Grow-Bloom. Turned on the exhaust fan in the tent.
Day 13 - 8/9/23 (Week 2 Day 6) - This girl goes wild for nutes! Big growth again! Did not water. Tent 77F, 60% humidity with the exhaust fan on. I turned up the humidifier a little to aim for mid-60s. Lung room is 75F at 55% humidity.
Day 14 - 8/10/23 (Week 2 Day 7) - She seems happy! Did not water. Tent 78F, 64% humidity.
Day 15 8/11/23 - Tent 78F, 67% humidity. Looked good, did not water - probably tomorrow. I thought maybe yesterday I caught a whiff of a faint scent in the tent - today confirmed. Exhaust fan still on low. Checked lights, ppfd at top of this plant about 450, the rest at 400.
Day 16 8/12/23 - All good. Did nothing.
Day 17 8/13/23 - 1 gallon 6.3pH nute water 1-2-1-1 CalMag, Micro, Grow, Bloom. Humidity down to 53% last night as humidifier ran out.
Day 18-19 - all good. Did nothing.
Day 20 - still all good. Will hold off on feeding. Tent 80F, 60%.
Day 21 8/17/23 - still good.
Day 22 8/18/23 - 1 gallon 1-4-1-2 6.3pH nute water. Light measures 520ppfd at the top of the plant. I added some ProMix HP to the top as it had packed down a bit and I under-filled to start with. I also (think?) I topped the new 5th node.
Day 23 8/19/23 - all good. Tent 80F, 50%
Day 24 8/20/23 - all good.
Day 25 8/21/23 - watered 1 gallon 1-4-1-2, 6.3pH. Nutes were 700ppm - runoff was 800.
Day 26 8/22/23 - all good.
Day 28 8/24/23 - Tucked some fan leaves and added the trellis net.
Day 29 8-25-23 - 1 gal 6.4pH 1-5-1-3.
Day 31 8-27-23 - she really shot up after I tucked fan leaves! Moved the light up a bit, 620 ppfd.
Day 33 8-29-23 - I am questioning everything!! She's droopy today and has a few yellow spots randomly on leaves. I probably should have watered her sooner. I was planning to flush every 3rd feeding starting this week, but decided to do it this time in case she was having nute burn. I gave her 1 gallon 6.4pH plain water with no nutes, but that did not perk her up. Also, the gallon only produced a few drips of runoff where it usually pools a bit in the tray underneath. Have I totally under-watered her? The soil did not seem quite dry a knuckle down yesterday but she's been growing so fast this week. She doesn't even feel as heavy as I expect now, a few hours after I gave her that gallon. Tent conditions are the same, 78-84F, 55-60% humidity. I raised the light a bit today again to get it back to 620 or so ppfd. Critical (also in the tent) shot up so much that I had to move the light again.
Day 36 (week 2 flower) - 9/1/23 - should have jumped to bloom nutes last week, so I'm jumping to 2nd week bloom on feed chart. 1.5 gal 6.45pH 1-5-3-6 - still didn't produce runoff. She was quite dry on day 3 since last feed. Adjusted lights to 620ppfd. Plucked a fan leaves that were blocking bud sites. Added a second oscillating fan inside the tent and added a fan outside the vent window blowing in. Also increased the exhaust fan. Hoping to get humidity down from around 60%.
Day 38 - 9-3-23 - Fed 2 gal 1-5-3-6 6.5pH - runoff was 260 ppm.
Day 40 - 9-5-23 - Fed 1 gal 1-5-3-6 6.45pH. No runoff.
Day 41 - 9-6-23 - turned exhaust fan up to 50%. 77F, 62% humidity. Ordered a dehumidifier.
