2/4 seeds didn't pop which I thought was strange. They looked good coming out of the towel but never popped. After 3 days I started 2 more. Currently under 24 hours light. When all 4 have popped, I will reduce the light cycle to 18on 6off.
All 4 have sprouted. One specimen is blowing my mind with how quickly it grows. Not looking to do anything special this week. Speculation at this point is to try to find a way to bring down the air temperature. Considering putting a bucket of cool water to act as a heat sink but wary of its impact on humidity. Once the other 3 catch up, I'll give them a light feeding.
The seedlings seem to have recovered a bit but are still far behind the obvious Queen. They look really stocky, but I think that may be due to lack of circulation. I added a stronger fan, and expect big changes this week. If I had to pick a weakness in my setup, it's the minimal ventilation - in a basement. The soil must be disturbed to keep from mold setting up. I keep my light running at 75% total power and on the IR, UV, FR spectrums. 100% seems to be too much to be going all the time. My temp is steady at 91. Not bad but certainly on the upper end of the threshold. My humidity continues to spike into the 80/90s. A dehumidifier will increase circulation and keep the air dryer. Hoping to keep it below 40% which is my current low point. May start topping the Queen to give the others time to catch up, and probably won't top them unless they stretch dramtically after the addition of the fan.
Stressful week. Plants appear to have a bit of a cal mag deficit. One looks absolutely terrible, but I hope I can nurse it back to health. Gave it nothing but water this week.
