Notes: First time using a trellis net and i already learned a lot. Pruning took a long time because i overdid the trellis technique, but i learned a lot of new things and tricks and I am looking forward to improve in that regard. Fertilizer: Powdered Nutrients Guanokalong 50g/ Plant Palm Ash Tree (High in Potassium) 10-20g/ Plant Bat Guano

Start of flower. Pistils are showing. I lowered the light for one day slightly too low (very dumb & avoidable mistake) and burned a couple young leaves on the top (in the middle where the light intensity is the highest). Now Im gonna leave the light at 40cm above the canopy running at 25% power with and average of 600 PPF. I think after the plants recovered they will like the adjusted light intensity & hanging height. Light intensity 35 kLux/ 650 PPF

Because of the burned leaf tips and the heavy defoliation they are under more stress than I planned out. Lets hope we can get them back on track in the next 1-2 weeks.

This week temperatures increased. We had a couple days with 28-30 Degrees. I hope the heat stress was not to bad and thankfully the temperatures drop the coming week. Im gonna increase the weekly feed to 2.0-2.5 EC until week 6. The last two weeks just water.

I took some of the light burned parts out to focus the plants energy more on the healthy top flower sites. Im not happy with the results so far, but nevertheless I will make the best of it and apply the things I learned next time. Looking back I should have flipped to flower much earlier (probably end of week 2) and would have avoided a lot of unnecessary pruning work (and probably less popcorn buds). Added 50g of Sugar Cane Powder plus 1l liquid fertilizer 2.1 EC 6.1 pH (last powdered nutrients until harvest, no liquid fertilizer in the last 2 weeks)

Currently battling a fungus gnat problem. I already informed myself in depth but would love to hear your tipps and experience with fungus gnats. Its seems like there are a lot of beneficial insects against the larvae but not the adult (fly)!?

[Beneficial Nematodes] I use the brand pot popper. Also kills the larva outright via microscopic parasitic worms and the adults die off from the lights and fans in mass anyways. You will notice a 100% turnaround in about 6 days times. If your also looking for something to snag the adults growing a CP - carnivorous plants can help control them. The one I had in my tent for a bit is called a Butterwort, sticky leaves and the gnats fly down for a snack and the plants eat em. Venus Flytraps don't do shit, they eat larger prey like house fly's and spiders, smaller pitcher plants or Sundews may work as well but the best is a Butterwort hands down. I got mine off of facebook marketplace, local carnivorous plant grower. Can also use sticky traps and BTI like EZZ suggested below. Good Luck!

Nothing special this week. Watered 1l per plant pH 6.2 EC 2.3 Next cycle I want to increase the calcium feed for the last veg weeks before flower and for early to mid flower I want to increase magnesium feed. Didn’t see any deficiencies, but I think they could do better (thicker leaves and better darker color, less red coloring in stems and petiol)

Realized my controller had the wrong leaf offset (vpd) (1 instead of -1) and therefore the wrong vpd. Very dumb and unnecessary mistake. Sometimes you just wanna slap yourself. Therefore from now on leaf vpd check every 3 days.

Many of them are falling over. I already saw that coming but i was too lazy to add another trellis net at the end. Next time i will prune much more aggressive at the start of flower and also will use a second trellis net. Next time I also plan on making a better approach regarding the documentation if the grow and a big focus of mine will be keeping vpd more stable.

Decent grow. Didn’t prune enough, which could have decreased the amount of popcorn buds. A little over 200g of dried flower after 10 days of hang drying (18C 60% RH) with 250W.
