First indoor grow. I’m on a budget, so a grow tent will have to wait. In the meantime I’ve isolated a corner of my basement. Smell is not a concern for me anyways. I have grown photoperiods outdoors with success so I thought I’d give some autoflowers a shot indoors. Germinated the seeds in soil. Using Fox Farm happy frog as my medium. Amended with Gaia Green organic all purpose fertilizer 4-4-4. I'm using a 600W Viparspectra LED grow light.
So far, so good! The ladies are growing quickly. Watering every other day with about 250ml of oxygenated water ph’d to 6.8. Not much more to report. Looking forward to next weeks growth as they are realy starting to take off. I Plan on top dressing with organic fertilizers at the end of week three.
Top dressed the soil day 19 with organic fertilizer. The blue strains are growing fast and bigger than the others. The two LSD’s look completely different, one looks healthy and growing strong. The other, has very light leaves. Im not sure why. it’s in the same soil with the same nutrients and gets the same water as the other plants. Any thoughts? Other than that, things are going well! The Ladies are growing rapidly. Should be ready to LST and tie them down in a few days.
I have two LSD-25 plants growing. One very healthy and dark green in color. The other is much lighter. Growing just as tall as the other but the leaves aren’t as full and healthy looking. Same soil, same nutrients and same water as the other. What is causing this?
hey there, every strain has what's called pheno types which is the personality of the individual plant. When you're growing reds and purples the differences are even more between the phenotypes - some more red some less red. That's what's happening here , in another few weeks you should notice even more differences. So don t worry you did nothing wrong ! good luck with the rest ! 🚀
Just the start of week 4. The LSD’s, Auto Blueberry and Blue Cheese Auto are fast and starting to pre-flower. Filled into the width of their pots the last couple days and all around 6-7 inches tall, it’s day 22. Really guzzling water too. The two Charlottes Angel CBD Autos are heathy just a little slower than the rest. I will LST in another day or two.
Day 23 about 3 inches growth on each of these girls. I did some lst’ing on them by bending them in the middle and tieing them down. This will really even out the light coverage, giving each budsite more exposure. The Blue Cheese Auto on the other hand, is growing so big and still not pre-flowering I decided to top her. With the rate of growth I think she will recover just fine.
Day 27, they responded well to the Lst’ing. I did some selective de-leafing today only removing the leaves that were shading bud sites. Looks like Blue Cheese Auto will give a heavy yield, she has so many side branches.
End of week 5. Things are going well. All plants are flowering. The blue Cheese Auto was the last to pre flower just seing it start today at day 35. The LSD’s are showing some beautiful colours already. I top dressed the soil today. Doing selective de-leafing day to day to maintain good airflow and light exposure to bud sites. I’ll leave them on cruise control for the next few weeks and just keep watering them every other day. Responded very well to the Lst’ing as the lower branches are all reaching the same height as the main colas.
Day 42. Only thing I did this week was water every other day. Watching the buds get thicker each day as we are ending week 6. The Blue Cheese Auto is big and full of branches that form a flat even canopy. Looks like she could be a heavy yielder. The LSD’s are gorgeous plants. Both so colourful. The Charlottes Angel CBD’ s are small and look
like they will grow a thick main cola.
Day 49. Top dressed the soil one last time. Starting to see some fall colours in the leaves on the LSD’s as they are quickest flowering in this grow. Smell is amazing, sweet and fruity. The Blue Cheese Auto is a beast.
