Growformyself Weirdly, the plant stem is very thin on almost all the plants. The fan has been running since the beginning! Maybe the lamp is too high at 35-40cm 🤷‍♂️ any tips?

Growformyself All 7 plants are growing a bit weird 🤷‍♂️ damn thin and spindly on the stem... By the end of the second week, it actually looks pretty good. I was away for a few days again, and right now the girls definitely look a bit thirsty.

The weird growth (long and thin) seems to be your VPD. You have a daytime temperature of 29°C with around 55% RH. Your VPD is somewhere around 1.8 kPa with these values. Way too much for the little plants. That's why they're growing uncontrollably and can't put their energy into width. You need to lower the temperature or increase the RH to get to a VPD of 0.8 - 1.0 kPa at this stage. Google VPD charts to learn about the influence of temp and RH on VPD and keep an eye on your VPD. @Growformyself, sure. I just saw something else. The jagged edges on your leaf margins. That's too much light. Way too much 😇. At this stage, you can provide them with 18 hours of light a day at a PPFD of about 300 - 400 mmol/s. With your lamp, about 40cm at 30-40% power. Nothing more. When they start to flower, you can go up to 60% and then keep increasing until peak bloom. In the last 2 weeks, reduce the light back to 60%. Good luck. 💪
