👋 aloha human beans . this marks the official beginning of the (hopefully deer-licious) outdoor BLUEBERRY MUFFIN journey 🙌. starting in a 16oz solocup to keep the soil from drying out and hydrophobicizing. hate when that happens. will transplant once roots start poking out the bottom. soil: LIGHT MIX - Bio Bizz. no idea what to expect since we passed the summer solstice and she is a photoperiod. flowering time is supposedly short (45 days), im curious if it will work out. temps are hot, not gonna rain for a while. first photoperiod ever, hooves crossed all goes well. -doe👉👉

ahoy bipedal ones. no i-deer what happened, she grew sideways for a while. seems to have cleared up. roots started poking out >> transplant thyme. new pot soil 30% biobizz all-mix on the bottom. 70% biobizz light-mix on top. i ran out of all-mix. she seems happy. plan to top once the 3rd node side banches clearly visible. stay tuna'd.😎 -doe👉👉

salutations skinwalkers. 👋 D22. decided to go for 8 tops. will top again at next 3rd node. daylight hours dropping. need to keep her in veg. what to do. hmm. idea time. *insert lightbulb* will extend daytime with desklamp for 2H after sun sets. feeling smart. hooves crossed it works. D23. broke off the top branch during LST. no feeling smart anymore. LAME. looked ugly, so took the other one off too. original node 2 mainlining now. still sad. D25. growing slowly. recovery mode. will top at 3rd node. afterwards will remove 2nd node growth. less sad, but still sad. 😭😭😭 D27. finally getting over broken branch. 💀 3rd nodes coming in slowly. testing my patience again. not recommended for impatient ruminants. 3rd node topped. 2nd nodes cleared. GIVE ME THOSE 8 BRANCHES. only LST from now on. lets dough this. -doe👉👉

anybody ever try delaying flowering outdoors? need to delay 2-3 weeks (she starts her 5th week now). current plan: desklamp to extend daylight by 2H (+-15H total). summer soltice has long passed. daylight will soon shorten to 13H. 💩💤

aloha skinwalkers. D29 last growth shoots coming in. growing faster everyday. feelsgoodman.jpg now waiting for all 8 branches to get long enough to LST outwards. noticed some branches have alternating nodes. they grow up so fast. 😢 will remove growth shoots leaving only the end of the branch. looks promising. D30 training classes in session. LST baby. liking the structure. waiting for branches to grow longer then gonna clean the undergrowth. huhuhu. D33 keeping tings level. nicely spreading me lady. noice. defoliated a bit. plan to spread a touch more. then recovery period and flower time baby! - thedoe 👉👉

The mainlining is well done. Give it another week to get one more node on each shoots, the plant will have a few more flowers without getting oversized.

D36. hello homos (sapiens). added soil to top because soil sank. probably shouldnt have, but defoliated a bit. LST made many leaves touch the soil. hooves crossed all is good. according to grow question answers, will let her veg another week. THIS IS IT. bleat. D38. loving the shape. height barely changing because of spreading her out (huehue LST jokes). worried branches arent spaced out enough. we'll see. still thinking about vertical stretch. other diaries suggest she doubles in height. will wait for her to grow a bit taller. end of this grow week should doe it. (D42) seems like a good ideer. still zero pistils. indeeresting shit fam. D41. growth has started to increase rapidly. many leaves! hope shes not commencing the stretch yet! monday she switches to flowering. decided the remove the bottom-most growth shoots. want to see long connected buds. aiming for minimum/zero side branching. experimentation. !! noticed more whiteflies. STAHP. getting yellow sticky traps asap. - thedoe 👉👉

pyrethrine-base concentrate would probably be a better option for an ongoing issue. also some sticky traps. anything that develops from larvea in the medium can be controlled wtih "BTi" -- common brand is mosquito dunks or mosquito bits. the latter is a top-dress application. neem is fine. it needs to be applied every 7-14 days to be effective, so if oyu do apply it before flower, it's not lasting the entire time. very limited options in flower if you care about your lungs and overall health.

howdy bipeds. D43. seems like she started the stretch. could be vegetative, could be flowering. switched to flowering light schedule. EXCITING. will have to remove any potential side branches. keeping an eye on the lowest ones. STILL NO PISTILS (hairs). but see calyxes forming. purchased yellow sticky trap. seems to work well. D45. we stretchin baby. started light flower nutes. reduced N-nutes slightly. still no hairs. nodes are growing close to each other. smelling GREEN. D49. strechin a bit more. hopefully not too elongated. spotted a few pistils. HOOVES CROSSED. -thedoe 👉👉

some of the the lowest growth shoots started to stretch outwards (some stayed short).ideally I would prefer one nice long bud.should I remove them? (maybe 2 or 3 in total)or better to wait until 21 days flowering. probably should not defoliate for another week right? thanks!

a lot of that depends on the intended size of the plant etc etc.. your familiarity with your enviornment as far as how deep you get good weed into canopy.. outdoors, i would not trim much off. unlike indoor, the lower buds can easily be swimmign in 2000 umol/s of PAR. It's not teh same context as indoors where just 12-24" into canopy can be an extremely reduced umol/s intensity of PAR. (Photosynthetically active radiation = PAR - lol or close enough, it's off the top of my head) So, for an outdoor plant, trainign and spreading it out is the best way to go. when budsites form, if you see sparse amounts of pistils on some lower growth tips, you can change your mind at that time... but these will only be the heavily shielded areas of plant. leaves power growth and buds... only remove what you must and have a good reason to do so. same with growth tips.. outside most will be useful.

attention all humanbeans! D57. not much time for photos last week. doe is back. here we go. nighttime temps dropping. daylight hours dropping. added full body photo. look at that beaut. quite a bit of defoliation and pruning few days ago. removed everything up until one node below where budsites start. for security see. she didnt give two leaves at all about it. started producing lots of pistils last two days. finally. the herd would be proud. no sidebranches stretching anymore. keep it tight ladies. TITE. D61. such a big burst of pistils. much wow. even trichomes started to form! so. amaze. no need to even adjust lst. all is growing at the same pace. in-sane in the membrane. -thedoe 👉👉

Its outdoors maybe you over did it ;))) Light of sun is most powerful, so she can penitrate way deeper than any light indoors. Same will be with cola lenght, small lolipoping is smart, for better air movement and stuff, but you dont need to trim high. I would be taking inside of canopy ( or to center of it ) looking leaves, all outside looking i would leave. Now its too late. She will drink a bit less , so lift pot, dont get yourself to overwatering. Good luck !
