Hello growers,
Something new - Raccon habitat, Chiang Mai Thailand.
A good friend managed to bring me some seeds from a breeder he knows which is apparently A++ (I haven't tried it yet but will next month).
At the moment I have very little information other than this strain took around 3 years to develop and it is a feminized seed that is a indica dominate hybrid.
Equipment
7 gallon square fabric pot
Live soil mix with live worms
2 x 200w LED (WL)
Automatic drip feeder
Two 9' fans
August 7
Seed sat in water for 12 hours then it was then rolled around in Mycorrhiza and Kelp before adding her to a solo cup.
August 10
Little one popped open after three days and is ready to take on the world.
Lights are set on full and will stay like that until I am ready to transplant her. Just sprayed the dome with water
Hello growers
August 17
9 days in a solo and the roots have shown enough to transplant. Watered the pot in with 1L of water (6.3) and the clovers are starting show.
August 20
Watered in some SST. Trying to get my soil PH back up to 6.5 so added a small amount of limestone. Will keep tabs on that for sure.
August 23.
Added some food for the worm. Had a issue with over watering but fixed the issues. Still working out the correct measurements for the auto watering system. Now its around 0.3-4ml every 72 hours
Hello growers.
August 27
After adding some lime stone to the soil PH levels went from 5.5 to 7.0. she is much brighter in colour. Watered in 0.4L of fish tank water (PH 6.5) every 2-3 days.
August 30
FIM'D at the third node. Watering increased to 0.4ml every 24hrs. Started sprouting the alfalfa for next weeks SST
Hello growers
September 3 - 22 days
Nice growth after topping. Added 0.5L of SST (Alfalfa) and 1L of water. Currently looking like 6-7 new bud sites which will be perfect. Soil is stable and haven't notice any new burned tips.
Hello growers
September 13
Day 3 of 12/12, removed some clips and will just tuck leaves for the next week or so. No feeding this week but will start a CT some point. She has some funky leaves which I love.
Hello growers
September 20
Round out the second week of 12/12.
Just Tucking and adding a compost tea over the next month. She will be on auto pilot while I'm away. Chiangmai mai bound for some R&R. Time to see if all the automation works.
Water has increased from .4L to .6L every 72 hours
Hello growers,
Been away for 2 weeks away but here is photo my mate sent me. Short update but looking nice so far. No issues so far bit still a few days before I get back home.
Hello growers,
Back after 3 weeks away and the plant has survived. Success
October 15th.
Plant has finished it's tea cycle now will be on water to finish out her life. Soil levels are 6.5-7. Added more food for the worms. Temperature dropping outside so hoping the buds are dense.
Hello growers,
October 23
Entering the last weeks (2 more to go) Im noticing colas getting more dense and a lot of new pistils. Feeding lots of sugars and she should finish her reserves this week.
Hello growers,
Week 8 kicked off and she is starting to fill out. Lost my purple light q this week (RIP) but got a good 4 years from it. Set her up with two 100w panels (white/red) which should finish the job.
Her tank is almost empty and will slowly stave until the end. She isn't giving off any smell but I guess thats the phenotype for her.
Hello growers
Looking like she might need a extra week. My plan was to cut her down in The next 7 day but will delay it an extra week.
I have a feeling my friend labelled the seeds with the correct name because im feeling this might be the haze rather than the habitat. I wont know until next run when I do a smaller grow eith bith varieties. Either way its an adventure
Reserve tank is down to the last 10% (7 more day) then stave her for a week.
Hello growers
Midddle 9th week of 12/12. Starting to give of a feint smell of lemon. Tricombs starting to go from clear to cloudy. Will give her 7 days without any more water or nutes.
I can see the finish line.
Like it, don't love it
Raccoon Habitat #1
4 week veg + 10 week flower.
This was a guinea pig for the new seeds given to me and also that test out my new watering system. Didnt get a smell untill the final week and the buds structure was lacking. Some things I liked about this plant was the stem and symmetric branches. Made it very easy to train.
Will have a smoke review after 2 month.
Hope you enjoyed the journey. Next year will start seed #2
First taste test, flavour weak but does pack a punch. Gave the trim i collected an ethanol wash and dried over 72hrs.
