Soaked in PHed 6.0 water for 24 hours at 78F. All 6 seeds germinated in 24 hours then placed directly in hand squeezed low moisture Coco and lightly sprayed the top toil with plain 6.0 water.
Vispectra xs1500 - 24 inches from the pots - 50% power, I'm guessing near 450 PPFD based off par tests.
I'm using 2 Inkbird wifi controllers, (humidity and temperature) to control my VPD.
These use certain parameters I set to change the humidity setting on one controller as the temps change on the other controller.
Giving me the best VPD for high day temps and low night temps.
VPD - 0.8
average temp - 76
Humidity - changes with temps
2.5g - MB / 1.5g - MS / 2.5g - CN @ deluded strength
400 PPM [ SHOULD HAVE USED 700 PPM FROM THE BEGINNING I BELIEVE]
5.8 PH
Anything else?
End of week 5.
1. Lowered EC to 1.2
2. Watering 5x a day till runoff. Every 3 hours when lights are on.
3. Changed air stone out for fountain pump for better airiation in rez.
These are changes advised by DR Coco and many of his supporters.
I will run this for a week and check back in.
After almost 2 months of terrible results with masterblend. 'm switching back to jacks 321 at the beginning of next week. Let's see how long it takes to recover and maybe finally grow some.
Using jacks 321 now. Let's see where this goes.
3.8g Part A / 1g Magnesium / 2.5g Calcium
Veg recipe from jacks 321, deluded to 1.2 EC.
Watering when rather dry.every two days it seems. Hand watering. Trying to promote roots. I believe the roots are what's hurt the most out of the masterblend mistake. So they need new roots and start transpiring better. Some dry out much faster. Once I get them healthy and they're all drying out daily in these 1L pots. Then I'll transplant.
