I wanted to try some autoflower and have the space so here we go. I'll be using Nature's Living Soil Super Soil Concentrate for Autoflower plants. D1 - 9.18 - Seeds (soaked and toweled) dropped in solo cups with 1/3 super soil mix on bottom and 2/3 fox farms on top as usual.

D8 - 9.25 - My autos are growin growin growin D11 - 9.28 - Transplanted to 3 Gallon pots and moved to the bigger tent, the second plant is lagging behind a little bit. D13 - 9.30 - One is doing REALLY well. One looks to have some sort of damage on one of its fans, but I'm not sure what could of caused it. Maybe a little transplant shock or just mutation?

D15 - 10.2 - Wanted to get better airflow and light distribution in my main tent so moved these to a 1x4 section. Gotta love the 3-in-1 tents. D17 - 10.4 - Autos are doing fine. I'm sure they will take off more when they find the Super Soil in the bottom of the pot. D21 - 10.8 - Doing ay ohkay

D23 - 10.10 - Managing and unseasonable heat wave and having already stored my A/C, been a bit nerve wracking. After exploding with growth the past week, I realized I was going to need to top and LST my good auto to keep it a reasonable distance under the lights. So I did 👍 We'll see how it responds, but I think it's plenty happy as it started to show its sex. D25 - 10.12 - The nerves are really on edge over here as I've discovered a broad/russet mite contam in my main veg tent, where these were originally growing a week or so ago. I've treated all my plants with insecticidal soap and Neem oil before lights out two days in a row to try an nip this. Taking any and all advice on how to get rid of this asap. Going to pick up some heavier duty miticide today and have predatory mite and lady bugs on the way.

10.23 - So these plants are resilent as hell, particularly the one that is obviously in flower and thriving. It's funny, the pistils look like some kinda soft cheese being extruded through a grater or something. Totally wild looking. The other was a little slower from the start and took a small amount of damage from my broad/russell mite treatment. High hopes for them both now.

D40 - 10.26 - has anyone seen this much of a difference between two autos of same strain at once? It could just be health, I guess. Anyhow, rooting for #2 to catch up with #1, who is just cranking and being a bushy cheezy little lady.

D43 - 10.31 - Happy Halloween! 👽 Some growth going on. I guess the more mature auto isn't going to get too much taller? No stretch anything? Maybe cuz of some trauma. Anyhow, she's stacking buds on. And her little sister auto is showing some preflower stuff going on So we GUCCI 👌👊 I've read some people growing autos on shorter light cycles so I threw these two into the flower tent with the dumpster queen so I could spread my plants out just a little more in veg tent

D51 - 11.8 - did some defoliation to open up budsites to the light on the small one. Treated for the deficiencies seen on the larger one and cruising along. The small one smells sweet and fruity right now. 👍

D56 - 11.13 - Looking great. The buds on the dwarf cheese is continue to swell and frost over while the other on is spitting out long white hairs and getting juicy! Not sure how long this dwarf is going to take to finish, but maybe 2-3 more weeks? D60 - 11.17 - :)

D64 - 11.24 - Thinking this dwarf is getting close to finishing. Gotta get a good look with my jewlers if I can find it. Defoliated the larger plant a bit today. Really chunking up well. D67 - 11.27 - Tried to get some good shots of the trichs, We are about 40-60 cloudy. A bit of amber hear and there, but will definitely give her the rest of this week before checking again. I'd ideally like to see a bit of leaf discoloration as well before cutting her down. Though she be small, she be mighty in stink. very bright fruity smells right now.

D71 - 12.1 - Getting really close to cutting this dwarf! Look at them trichs! <3 <3 Still suck at taking picks through the jewlers loop haha Small issue arose in this tent. Found a decent amount of fungus gnats flying around a couple days after I gave some molasses, so I set up some apple cider/soap and sticky traps and applied some diatomaceous earth to the top of the mulch. Should take care of it D73 - 12.3 - Thinkin I'm gonna give her one more dark sesh before cutting chop. 😬 Hate myself a little for how much itty bitty fiber made it onto these top buds while I was gawking at them and taking pics. But damn I am happy with that frost. Very much considering making bubble hash with this plant D74 - 12.4 - I cut her right before the lights came on and strung her up in the dark tent for 12 hours. About to bring her out and get her into her drying chamber I made from a sliding drawer tote, fan, and some carbon filter pad. The whole plant weighed 96g! D77 - 12.7 - this cheese definitely took a little hit from the gnats. But should also be finishing very soon, so having trouble telling exactly what is damage and what is fade. Please enlighten me!

Week 11. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

12.8 - One of my first runs from seed. Has a sister waiting to be harvested soon. This plant was exposed to some heat pretty early in veg and shortly thereafter had her stem split, so she dwarfed. Always had healthy looking flowers and continued to stack into lovely nugs despite being dwarfed. Trichome content it high. Smoked on 12.8 for first time - very smooth tasty sweet smoke. Smell is somewhere in the range of light cheese sour melon. Not piney or earthy. High is motivating, calming - quiets worries and vibes well with doing some work or reading. Definitely feeling some pain relief as well. : 1:

Was a good learning experience. I'm not going to get near the weight I expected from these, and though the bud turned out really tasty, I don't think I'll grow it again. I'm not sure I would recommend to a newbie. It was in some awesome living soil, but some deficiencies crept up in flower, and I wasn't impressed with the roots upon post mortem exam. On second look, even the photo on msnl's site shows some spots that looks like deficiencies. Definitely some grower errors here, but all of my ongoing grows faced the same challenges and these just seemed less adaptable. Anyhow, I've been graced with some clean meds for now, and I'm a happy growin hooman. 👽 I also probably won't do any more autoflowers moving forward. Just not my style. There are some great peeps doing outstanding work with autos though. Best to them and all! :) D82 - 12.12 - cut the second auto cheese yesterday. Let her go as long as I was comfortable. Think her run in with the gnats resulted in the the deficiencies. Awfully covered in trichs, so it should make for tasty smoke after dried, trimmed and cured.. Shall update

I cooked my plant cause I used too much hot soil, but I am going to try again, cause I think I know the right amount now.
