Quick One RQS - First outdoor grow

Trying out growing for the first time. I decided on a simple outdoor grow to learn the basics before getting the lights and tents. 14/08: I already made my first mistake of not planting the seed deep enough and not watering enough. I think helmet bro can still be saved. Gonna try misting him a few times over a day or two and hopefully, the hard shell falls off. Completely fucked the easy bud seed so I think he's gone for now. F 15/08: Light misting 2-3 times a day and a simple humidity dome seem to be working well. 16/08: Helmet bro is free and is giving a salute, all is well. 17/08: Measured the temps and its a consistent 33-35°C during the day. I don't think she minds it though. 18/08: Decided to add perlite as soil dressing to help keep the roots cool. A white pot and a white surface should help keep things manageable in direct sunlight. 19/08: Forgor that perlite turns amberish after rather quickly. I still think it's better than the black dirt so it stays. 20/08: The hottest day yet. Outside temps are around 35°C (95F). Measured the temperature around the roots and it's waaaaay too high at 39°C (102F). The plant seems fine for some reason and is showing no signs of heat stress or burning. Compared the growth to other diaries and it's looking great despite the ungodly heat.
