These girls are stinking up my house regardless of how large the carbon filter systems are. I wish they would fill out a LOT more but it just doesnโ€™t seem like Iโ€™m seeing much difference. I really needed these girls to finish quickly but they seem to be on slow time. Or even worse they just arenโ€™t going to produce as much as I hoped and prayed. Check out the last picture what in the heck is wrong? Any ideas welcome!

There are various ways to go about it . Firstly it depends which route you wanna take . If you wanna take the organic route it is very do able now and days for a very good cost . They used to make only synthetic nutrients before in bottles but they now come organic as well . Basically what your going to want to look at when selecting stuff to make your plants more robust and have heavier yields is a few of the following things . Firstly a rooting agent like Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice or Piranha will help your too mass become bigger as well as increase the nutrient uptake your plant will be able to and increase the resistances to mould and heat stress another company that sells a simular product is Green Planets Ocean magic or Root builder both of these products do the same thing as voodoo juice and piranha except they are organic . Second thing your going to want to look at is a chelation agent a protein shake if you will for your plants in order for them to rebuild stronger and faster kinda like when a person works out they drink a protein shake same kinda effect but for plants . Chelation agents vary but the important ingrediant to look at is Humic and Fulvic acids these will help your plant rebuilt stronger and faster you can go through various company's to obtain such a nutrient my personal favorite is Advanced Nutrients B52 you can equally use Green Planets humic/fulvic acide uptake for an organic blend . This will cover your veg cycle pretty well with the added base nutrients of CalMg and what ever growth solution you are choosing to use . When it comes time to flower you can use various nutrients in order to help make your flowers form faster bigger and stronger . Advanced nutrients line up goes a little something like this Bud ignitor , basically a product that helps facilitate the formation of flowers it is used for the first week , then there is Bud candy this produc gives your plant extra food its needs that wont be offered in your bloom mix these things are usaly raw sugars that will increase the flavor the crystal production and the aroma of your flowers , this product is used all the way to the end of flowering until your getting ready to flush , then you use big bud and this helps kick your flowers into growth allowing them to get bigger and swell faster resulting into bigger more kick ass flowers , then lastly you would use over drive and that would do exactly what its name is kick your plant into overdrive make your buds even bigger and better increasing oil productions leading into a more frosted packed bud . These products are used in combination with each other in order to achieve a main goal . The green planet line up for that is massive bloom , rezin and liquid weight altho green planets system has less bottles they do the same things . I hope you find this information helpful ! And always keep in mind that these are examples there are many many many nutrient line up out there that will do exactly what you are looking for it all depends on what route you wanna take . - Happy Growing !

Yo dude! Iโ€™m inclined to agree with @Mrs_Larimer and @BeefWellingtons on this for sure. Great advice! These girls look great and youโ€™re at least a couple of weeks out (expected). Iโ€™d also add this - IMO agree with the nute def. but Iโ€™d be careful about whether or not this is due to lockout. Youโ€™ve got some yellow tips on those leaves if Iโ€™m seeing it right, meaning a little nute burn. I think youโ€™re good to feed another week like beef said but Iโ€™d actually do a semi-flush/good โ€œrinseโ€ on the next water just to ph everything out for next nute feed. Otherwise - these girls are gonna finishnout great fo sho๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Š

Your main colas look great, just be patient, you can't rush the grow. As for the issue with the browning on the leaves, it looks very much like a calcium deficiency to me. They sell organic calcium so you should try to get that and add it to your grow. It does look like you are two to three weeks out from harvest but only the tricomes will will tell. That said it looks like late stage calcium deficiency and probably can't be fixed much but if you are three weeks out adding a little now will slow down other leaves from having the same issue. Its kind of a toss up at this point. I looked at your pics again and I'm serious about the 3 weeks. These plants will gain a lot of weight if you give them time, but they need more nutrients for the next 2 weeks imo. Looks like they haven't gotten nutrients in a while. They have used up all the nutes in the soil and now they are cannibalizing themselves to keep producing flowers. If I was in your situation I would mix them up a full batch of organic bloom nutes (with addl. calcium and magnesium) and feed them asap.

@OrganicGreenGoddess, ah I'm sure you havnt with your skills that help things grow lol the basic idea of it is worms make up your veg and bloom nutes ..its a different nutrient concept im not even sure flush is needed which defies my logic tbh so im just experimenting and repeating it enough times to eventually say for a fact this does this and that does that so you need to add in this or ammend your soil with that but im half way there theres just alot of factors to test but outside in the wild they have no problem pending on strain ..best o ๐Ÿ˜€luck and happy halloween growing

@drkushlife, I want worms! lol! I so need to look into that. I've never been a girl that needs help putting a worm on my hook lol so I soooooo need to study up on put them in my growing medium! I haven't tried mammoth but I'll look into it! Thank you as well ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜
DrKushlife
DrKushlifecommented6 years ago
@OrganicGreenGoddess, at the moment I'm fiddling about with worms saving me a fortune on nutes and I'm still getting my usual yield really trying to get that perfect and then seeing how using worms for pre-veg, veg and flowering react to boosters and all the good stuff like that ...thank you for the advice I will be trying that at some point have you tried mammoth p its absolutely phenomenal

Holy Christmas trees! And just in time for Christmas too!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‚. Couldnโ€™t help but notice your grow question on organic nutes as well; everyoneโ€™s idea of organic is somewhat different but i started with and Iโ€™ve been using botanicares line exclusively for awhile now (because i was told itโ€™s organic) and recently started using coco as a medium instead of soil. I think one could argue that this is still organic... anyhoo, Iโ€™ve found botanicare to be excellent. No matter the amount the plants seem to love it and Iโ€™ve never had any major issues with lockout. If ur in the market u might wanna check em out - reasonable cost too.๐Ÿ˜‰. Best of luck - this grow is awesome dude!๐Ÿ‘Š

@TheBudWhisperer, thank you so much ๐Ÿ˜ this is literally only the 3rd strain I've ever grown and that means so much thank you!!!! I'm trying to learn all I can! Even taking all the certifications from thcuniversity and others lol while I'm in actual college at the same time lol :). I will check into those thank you! I currently don't use a line I just use 3 separate organic things occasionally. I also introduced red worms into my pots a few weeks ago and started composting and put some nice worm poo as the top layer so it kind of "teas" my plants when I water. Thank again I so appreciate the positive vibes and encouragement!๐Ÿ˜˜

Nice ladies! You might have overfeed them in some point. BTW - the argument about Ruderalis needing some resting cycle (6,4,2 hours) is not a must. Ruderalis grows in northern climates and summers there are 24 hours a day, so darknes should not be a must. GOOD LUCK! ๐Ÿ˜Š
OrganicGreenGoddess
OrganicGreenGoddesscommented6 years ago
@IDOSWED, don't bring negative opinions of breeders here. I like RQS by what I've seen on this site, I haven't ever tried them but I think it has to do with the grower in most cases.... not the seeds.
IDOSWED
IDOSWEDcommented6 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks for commenting. I might have picked not the best strains or something, but twice I've had av. yield and the plants did not react well to training.. COMPARED TO others strains I've had under same conditions at the same time. Which strain/s would you recommend?
Mrs_Larimar
Mrs_Larimarcommented6 years ago
@IDOSWED,and i say the opposite. Ive grown that year around 25 RQS Plants... and i had only one fail in an old batch of Seeds. Or i did Mistakes by myself. For Me RQS are one of the Best Seedbanks and they have a great Customerservice

I have heard different arguments about this, but you might want to consider switching to a 20/4 or 18/6 cycle for your lighting. The argument is that plants need a resting cycle, even for just 4 hours a day. It will also help with the leaf edges at top of plant curling upward which is a sign of heat stress. Also it will save money on the power bill, lol.

@IDOSWED, I might be in a bad mood this morning or something but I don't appreciate your know-it-all attitude. I went and looked at your page and you're a brand new grower on here. I do plenty of research on my own and so do other people and what works for one person doesn't work for the next so your constant have to get that last word can stop in my diary at least.

@BeefWellingtons, growdiaries.com/diaries/17852-lb-ph-1 Looks to me that this guy makes magic in soil... recommended to check out the list of nutes he gives - to feed the soil, not the plant! Peace out.

For a better yield I would advise topping the plant in week 2 or 3 of veg. This will even out the canopy and allow light penetration to lower branches as opposed to those tall branches keeping the light so high up.
MaximusVerde
MaximusVerdecommented6 years ago
@OrganicGreenGoddess, Ah yes. I can understand your trepidation with an auto. Yet next time you dont use auto try to look into topping and pinching. Really does wonders for yield.
OrganicGreenGoddess
OrganicGreenGoddesscommented6 years ago
@MaximusVerde, thanks for the suggestion this is only my 2nd grow ever so I havenโ€™t experimented with much any type of training. I read not to top autos somewhere but that early on you can LST them but Iโ€™m just not up for any of that yet.
