Just beans popping! I have come back to my growing after an unintentional break and I am getting my bearings and I had bad beans too. So I was fighting everything for a minute now. But hopefully we are on track! Done it like 30+ times, maybe 40. But it’s different in a new space! Manipulating the climate is all new.
A ok! They seem to be responsive to my watering and only 1 looks like a mutant leaf is on it. So far so good! Check your nutes! TDS pen the feed!! If you are high like 1000+ you are too hot! I don’t like going over 700.
So all are happy but 3/5 of the Solfire have mutations?leaves are all funny looking, you will see! The “red” A.O.C. is good! Just keep in mind they are about a week older that the others. She is also Sativa Dominant. Stay tuned growmies.
So all are eating and happy! We got some mutations but we shall see where they go. I used Great White to sprinkle the root basket that grew around the entire substrate in the solo from using Orca as a base and then GW! I just had so many roots ,(see pic above), on all solos that I broke up the bottom of the roots to expose more to the dirt I sprinkled the GW all over the roots from the solo and it bounced back quickly ! The entire 4 that were transplanted into 5Gal Buckets from 1 - 1gal pot and 3 solo cups took nicely and all are starting to become solid with roots in the buckets! The Gangsta Bitch is the biggest one and she was 5-7 days ahead of the rest because she was OD’d on microbes and she had her leaves all get yellow and that was day 5 above dirt I turned the whole tent off because I had seeds germinating and in 2 days we were back planting the new seeds and the GB had a 1/16” new growth on it! I flushed her and she is thriving so much I can’t keep her happy fed enough!

The AOC, if it does 1/2 of what it has potential to do it will have 1/4 Oz nugs on the smaller branches! It’s shaping up like a popcicle flat and shaped like 1” thick 3” -4” wide ice creams. Let see

These ladies are getting frostier and are very dense but need a little bit more time because the TRI’s are not where I want them by far. I will chop at 10-15%.. maybe a little more to fatten up the buds! They need to get bigger! I have good tops and they will be good but I want them to grow length as well. I didn’t get to train as I wanted, next run!
This Solfire Gardens- Miami Mami have been a rollercoaster ride for even this old head! I had some deficiencies and other mutations throughout the grow with the end result being the plants you see that have started fading and are almost jet black with yellow outline! That’s the positive is that I got 2 out of a pack to harvest and they frosted up well and then I am about to chop them if the Tri’s tell me to. But I wouldn’t run the Solfire breeders seeds unless I was able to throw 10-20 seeds at a time and find the pheno of no mutation and no deficiencies! I had it show a far along Potassium deficiency in a few days that showed no warning of any kind that should have been the splotchy leaves ! The other plant because we have only 3 now, THE SOLFIRE 3rd plant hermied and was quickly chopped out away from the home!.. So we have 2 Miami Mami’s from the Solfire Breeder! I really wish they read this and tried to make good on this. But the other plant came from a seed I got as a freebie because I am a Veteran. Well the Alien Genetics- “red” AOC,(Alien Orange Congolese), turned into a plant stacked from top down at least 6+ inches and was all pistols and they all like dreadlocked up and then now she is putting a lot of bud up the inside of those pistols hiding everything!!! 😂… look at the one all hairy still! That plant I thought was trash is absolutely a dream to grow! Took up to 1500+ ppm of feed and kept growing!! She may take longer but she is going to weigh a good bit! I have to scope the tri’s on the other two and see how the Amber has invaded? If it’s over 25% I will have to cut to keep THC, Degradation from happening , I would love to let them keep growing in size but she will tell me when it’s time or just past time and I will chop 2 and hang them in the new VivoSun, Smart tent coming for these drying times and to veg with the 2 200W winged lights and a controller that controls the lights and fans in the center of the light so it will not get as hot as my HPS that needs an ac in December!!! But that smart tent will have control over the ventilation fans, the fans on the lights and the dimmers of the lights themselves and can follow the VPD! 👍 we will see in application if she runs as cool as she is advertised? That’s the whole kit, 4x4x80” and then the 2 independent 200W winged lights for the direction of intense light, you can aim the lights out further away to reach a branch growing up the wall or or inwards to make a higher PPFD/ Umol of light. Just aim the wings in to put extra light, with the controller being useable from my phone I will appreciate that feature! The quiet fan,(34db), and a nice Carbon filter. With the oscillating fan I added and the trellis I can see some upcoming harvests being much more manicured and I can work in the net to make shoots grow!! I am on the lookout for any strain suggestions for this application. Growing with a trellis, so I am looking for those plants that every end of branches are these big ol donkey appendages??? You know what I mean. Those long and thick buds that stack up top of the bud!

I will smoke it if I need relief from lack of appetite or nausea during the day! I do not want to be sleepy and 🙄 feeling during the day! I am weird and have a very high ,(in the top 0.015% of the world), so I did explosive manufacturing in my own company for 12 years and now am doing technical work and I can’t be slow, or stoned trying to remember all the layers and comanda on a complete digital board!
The SSG smart Vivo Sun kit came so I am putting it up today and it is my first step into the LED light world and the controller world, you know….. Life in the So Called Space Age! I will put some video or pictures on here as it is the end of wk9 flower and the Miami Mami’s are ready to be flushed and harvested! I am pretty sure because last week it was 80% all clouds and by 6 days later it should have the amber I want. Hopefully not too much?
If you are a new grower please make yourself get a wi-fi microscope,(I use “Max-See” with 8 white LED’s and the ability to take videos and pictures and that microscope is going to teach you when the plant is at the place you want. It will, as a rule get to all cloudy trich’s that is higher THC and resin that it will get. I only go to 15% Amber on the Indica and up to 40% Amber on Sativa depending on the info I have on the terp profile. Lots of pinene and limonene tells me, I need to go to 30% Amber or close. It takes some THC but it helps my symptoms better!!
So as a rule if you are new, get a scope and start checking your Trich’s about WK7 flowering. If it’s all clear mainly and then some cloudy then for Indica you want all cloudy, I choose to go a little Amber on My indica to help my sleep and relaxing so it’s my nighttime medicine. So almost all commercial grows chop at cloudy! If you’re growing a Sativa it’s up to you to either take it when it’s all cloudy Tri’s like big grows or balance it out a bit is your call but at least go till all of the frost has cloudy heads and then you can harvest and not be immature! Don’t fall into the , “it looks so good, I only have 3 grams left etc and I am taking them down now”!!! NO PLEASE! I’m being completely honest and sincere here about this and please don’t make the rookie mistake of harvesting way earlier!! I watched a new grower take 4-5 grows before he could even get to a complete harvest that was mature! Just go cloudy if in doubt and you will get the most potent and resinous that plant will get!
Okay, so end of WK 10 Flower and the Miami Mami’s were hell to get here from Genes but the past week of being flushed and ALL STOP on any nutrient or anything except slightly acidic water and it gave the buds what they needed to swell up and show bulk much more than last week. Possibly because they are mature and the last week really gave them the week they needed to be cloudy and get much nicer bulk to the buds. I am much happier with what the extra week did to make a plant that looked like it had reached maturity without going too Amber just didn’t have the buds it should’ve and had stacks of sugar leaves and not the opened up and the bud structure pushed through! It is quality for sure and was a 1-2 /10 for ease of growth. At least the seeds I got. But I have noticed that a lot of breeders, that are getting decent strains that get a great picture you buy off of, used CO2 and then they have a decent amount of mutations? It is basically an inbred population of hybrids so? Idk?🤷♂️
FYI- I had to save these plants because I couldn’t train them in veg much so I had to open them up and lay them with the branch growing sideways and now branches are breaking off because I think they are ready to come down.
