I got these beans as part of the Ethos auto pack, I can’t seem to find much info on the auto version of the grandpas stash, so I figured o would grow one out. Genetics are superskunk, afgan, OG kush, all 90’s versions. Quite the trifecta. Very excited.

Got the temp and RH dialed in, VPD is at an average of 1.0, not much to see here. Using the complete General Hydroponics flora series line up. I’ll start training soon, I’ve never topped an auto so I might give it a go this time around.

This week was a breeze, week 2 we saw the growth we would expect going into week three, this is right on par for autoflowers. Giant face sized leaves and a thickening bush. Decided not to top as I have still have almost 4 feet distance to the light. I’ll start some light lst in a few days. Hoping to get as long as a veg time as possible before the auto flip.

Some explosive growth happening, started light defoliation and leaf tucking, trying to get light to bud sites, keeping the same 560ppm nutrient level until preflower, then I will up it slowly until she burns and then back off to find that flowering sweet spot. Plants are very happy and bushy.

Going great, this the longest I’ve had an autoflower not flower, which is unexpected but great! I’ll stay course like I have been until next week, if no flowers form I’ll switch to 12/12 and see if that helps.

Been steady with defoliation right up til the end of week 5, removed almost 30% from them over the course of a week and they seems very happy with the new hair cut, looking good so far.

Starting week 8, girls are bulking up and smelling skunky, Jack Frost blessed me with his fairly dust in the middle of the night, what beautiful plants. I installed halo rings connected to a sub pump, will figure out an automated drain to waste run off system tomorrow. I order flora flex’s runoff platform kit so I can get the run off out of the tent and pumped automatically into a waste bucket to sure my girls are getting watered twice a day.

Nice bulking this week, the buds feel dense, the smell is a skunky smell that’s reminiscent of a Grateful Dead show with a hint of fruit lol 😂my dehumidifier shit the bed, plants were in 65+ RH for 7-8 hours before I could grab a new one, glad I noticed the spike. I have a lot of airflow and fans coving the whole tent so that’s some extra assistance. Also, loving the new automated water system! Highly recommended fora flex bases for runoff. ✌️🤙😎

Almost time, these ladies are some fast autos, day 70 and trichomes are all from what I can see cloudy and 10% Amber. Ethos suggests 70 days from seed and I think they are damn close with that estimate. The environment I’ve had these ladies in has been spot on for the most part and DLI/VPD settings have been dialed in for the most part. Have a lockout towards the middle of week 9 but I never did a periodic flush so that my fault. When using salt based nutes lockout will sneak up on you without it. Other than that a very easy grow, indeed. Cheers Edit: I did a heavy defoliation in hopes to lower humidity and light penetration. Looks great 👍 not much time left, just waiting for more amber.

Grandpa’s stash was a delight to grow, this would be an ideal strain for hash making. She was easy to grow, wasn’t too fussy, defoliation is a must, I’d recommend more lst than I did, she fills up and stacks nicely. The smoke is smooth, been curing for a week now, smell is a strong skunky sweet tang and taste is more in the bubba kush realm. She also yielded more than I thought she would, buds seem firm and dense which is always a great trait.

Great strain! I’d recommend her to anyone wanting a true old school hash plant in auto form, she’s skunky but also kush like, she’s gives a nice cerebral experience and lets ya down easy over time and the more you smoke.

@Green_Man_420, these ladies are easy on the eyes 👀 wish I could get more of these genetics, this very well may be the last time I’m blessed by them. They are no longer in Ethos catalog I believe.

@BudBoutique, Hey Thanks friend! She’s a great smoke, I found her to be more kush tasting than any of her other genes skunk-afgan. Shes cerebral for the first 10-20 min then goes to a more Stoney feel, which can be addictive lol I really appreciate it man keep crushing it as well! ✌️
