August 26 - Germinated within 3 days, Dialing in humidity as temps seem great sitting at a cozy 27c. Aiming for 70 - 75% Relative humidity but currently at 60%. Humidity is to drop with lights off by about 10% while the stomato are closed at night. have set a small computer fan up to be on 24/7 to drop humidity at night hopefully by 10% without stealing to much heat.

Sep 5 - Think only thing i would have changed at this point in time is a different growing medium, everything looks great the soil isnt getting to solidified or anything but something tells me maybe she could have benefited from a hand mixed combination. I also did flush her final pot and its soil and dry in the sun to minimize any nutrients already in the soil so i can use what i have with confidence in what i add is the only thing affecting the plant. So weather has been quite rough will be looking to automize quite a bit, not sure if that will happen this grow or the next but have already had success with wifi plugs, these seem to be usable with a hygrometer/temperature wifi piece im getting soon, Now if i can find a dehumidifier/humidifier that is either activated by wifi or able to be on constantly(mechanical) then i can just set them all to react to the temps/humidity.

Sep 19 - Think ill start LST by the end of this week as her growth has started to pick up, her weird mottled color doesn't seem to affect it (although i have nothing to compare to since its my first grow) so its just a cool mutation. For anyone wondering what the white powder is, i use diatomaceous earth to prevent fungus gnats aswell as cinnamon mixed into the soil which isn't visible to inhibit fungus growth. So I guess all i can say is all is going well just following the directions on the feeding for nutes and may increase it later as it goes into flower since it seems to be going great with the basic levels(I grow other plants and fungus gnats can spread) although mesh has been put up to prevent gnat propagation they will also be getting doses of mosquito dunks later. Sep 25 - Started LST (low stress training) also lowered lights by 5cm or 2 inches

Sep 29 - Little late this week, week 4 started on the 26th its now the 29th. Showing signs of pre flowering as i see stigmas are forming its very exciting! Increased nutrient intake struggling with humidity but have a humidifier coming for winter, all automatic soon as far as humidity is concerned. temperature has been really great hitting 28c during the day and 20 - 21c at night

Notes : Increased feeding and have changed to plurple lights today 75% plurple light to 25% cool white all spectrum lights. Also have got my ppm meter in, my tap water is about 200 - 250 and with liquid fertilizer its 300 Oct 2 - Added more Low stress training after my question to the community and raised my lights to increase vertical growth of the plant. PH of soil is 6.5 give or take and the mosaic pattern makes me think its possible it has tobbaco mosaic but im still trying to be positive. so generally lowering light intensity, im going to be increasing my feeding since i guess the suggest plant feeding is to low as even though im doing more than whats stated on the package people are feeding it 12x times more powerful than i am, so will double and see what happens. ( double dosage not ppm) i dont know enough about ppm to judge just based on that. oct 5 - fed with 15 - 30 - 15 instead of the 10 - 15 10 . Doubled the ppm from 300 to 600 to test how much i should feeding apparently at this stage people are much higher i didnt know since im just following the directions and ive just gotten my ppm meter. Shall see how the plant reacts to the stronger feed and adjust accordingly. Goal is to reach the 900 - 1100 someone said i should be feeding at but im a bit lost as to if they are doing this every watering or if my 300 every watering was good

This is my first grow and I'm concerned she isn't as tall as other growers plants, she seems shorter stockier and just more dense overall is this something i did? this is week 6. compared to the few other growers of this type the plant is usually taller but definitely not as dens

only compare to other soil grows using typical soil nutrients and amendments. soilless/hydro is faster. bottom line. genetics play a role, too. how much light you give can make a plant stockier -- the more intense light given the shorter the internode is (distance between 2 growth nodes). you don't want it too stretchy or too short, either. you look fine here, but you can look at it from better angles to see the internodes. i'm judging based on where the fanleaves seem to pop out from stems. When you start training and spreading out growth you need to consider all new growth, not just 1 dominant limb taking all the resources. it's not spread out, so the growth is spread out too.

Have been feeding more, lowered the lights and its starting to explode, so regular nutrients (not meant for a grow) are fine but get a ppm meter otherwise following the directions will starve your plant. I am somewhere between 8 and 10x the amount of feed as what's on the package 15-30-15 tomato feed.If i didnt get that ppm meter i would have never known. So now i feed 500ppm every watering (every 2 - 3 days) also increased water amount

Oct 22 - Pretty regular week taking good care of her but lowered my expectations as its my first grow. I still have no idea what to expect if she will fill out or if i will get a minimal harvest. Next grow will be much better great learning experience. Was not prepared by how hungry these plants can be lol

Nov 3rd- She responded so well to the higher feeding, i never knew a plant could be that hungry but it helped loads. The video is a sneak peak at my automated humidity control using cheap lugin wifi controls and smart life triggers with a manual knob humidifier so it turns one when notified of the humidity in the tent :D Note- There are odd markings on the leaves i dont know if this septoria leaf spot, or just a deficiency (looks like calcium deficiency but im not sure) i did accidently water without rasing the ph so that water/feed could have been from 5 - 5.5ph BUT these spots were appearing before hand. I also noticed the lower leaves yellowing so i increased the nitrogen a very small amount and it shaped up (itis yellowing again but i believe that may because of the possible ph imbalance) much better overall im happy so far!

Well sliding into another week, I'm checking the trichomes and waiting for them to go milky, not sure if i can just check leaves for that. That's what i have been doing. I've been told i'm waiting for a portion of at least half of the hairs to go an orange/bronze color. Weird blotches become more prominent on leaves that its visible (they are just in some leaves) less than half id say around 15 - 20% and less than half of those seem pretty bad. I would like to know the cause if its nutrient lockout or a disease etc. Or perhaps its normal for late stage flowering i do not know

I was told perfect leaves are impossible to get, but this has to be something right? I had some nutrient burn from one week that was quickly stopped at least as far as the tips of leaves. Is this nutrient burn? a nutrient lockout of is it normal for flower? Im hoping this is norm

Hey Buddy! I would say Calcium deficinency symptoms. Your PH is on the lower end for soil, so probably the two are connected. I would try raising your ph slightly, probably you don't need too much more calcium at this late stage of flowering, so don't stress too much. Just continue and keep her happy! Good luck!

Nov 21 - I wasnt able to correct the ph issue, seemed it was to acidic around 5.2. I got it up to 5.7 with lots of ph adjusted water but im just going to have to let it go. I believe the leaves turning yellow are a relatively normal thing when its coming to harvest time (still deciding when to harvest. I cut the worst of the leaves but its clear now she had a bad time with calcium uptake and the bud size went great but i feel the maturity of it may have been slowed down but not stopped. Let me know if you have any tips for harvesting im currently waiting for half the hairs to go orange and like 80% of the trichomes to be milky and 20% to be amber thats what my current research says but ill accept any ideas since im still a bit in the dark
