Excited for grow number 2! This time I am using a DIY grow cabinet. Modified an IKEA wardrobe (GURSKEN). Temps and humidity in check!
7/23 - germination begins (tap root emerges in paper towel)
7/25 - planted in FFOF/FFHF w/ Myco + Dr Earth Homegrown
7/27 - sprouted
8/10 - week 2
Whoa! Came back from vacation to notice some kind of mutation going on? The apex stem in the middle has branched off into 3. It’s almost like it topped itself? I believe the technical term is “ Whorled Phyllotaxy”.
This is awesome.
This thing is growing like a mad man.
8/24 - week 4: going into flower with a very nice stretch.
Water is RO with a smidge of calmag and Myco. LST is working and I’ve added more clips to more branches. This is only my second grow and this plant is wild. IKEA wardrobe putting in work 💪
8/31: week 5
Scratched in Dr earth flower girl nutes.
More LST clips used.
Made a hole for this terra cotta spike that I’m using to automatically water while I’m abroad
9/7: week 6. Out of town this entire week. Soaked the plant in 3.5L before I left and used a 750ml wine bottle of RO water in the terra-cotta watering spike.
9/14: week 7.
Returned from abroad and she looked a little crispy. Definitely was thirsty. I didn’t check my AC infinity app or event attempt to control the temps as closely as I should’ve. Oh well, Europe was fun.
Gave her a whole dose of Dr. Earth Flower Girl, a good soaked, and put in an oscillating fan.
9/21: week 8
So I realized not all the yellow leaves were dying leaving from my departure. I may have cut too many leaves in a panic, not realizing it’s a common with these genetics. Alas, she lives and we continue our journey.
