Week 9: We are coasting at this point! The plant is looking good and the buds are fattening up and frosting over nicely. I noticed that the stalks aren't very thick and on some of my outdoor plants the buds are already leaning over, so I decided to incorporate some Silica into the fertilizer routine. We also felt the buds could be bigger and knowing we did our initial bloom fertilizing a little late - we decided to also incorporate a bloom booster as well. Looking forward to see whether there's some improvement in these areas over the next few weeks.
There should be about 4 to 5 weeks left in flower. So I'm planning to continue with weekly feedings of the bloom boost, silica, kelp, and microbes up to (10/5) the week before the last day of flower.
Any advice on getting good quality trichome photos?
I have a cheap small USB Microscope, but I don't want to break off a bud to get a good still imagine. Please help lol
I'm using a Carson MicroBrite Pro microscope, about . Photos are a bit fidgety with the phone clip but doable. Check my profile pic. If you want to see more let me know.
@BudBoutique,Thanks growmie! It was a learning experience for sure. Hopefully I can find a spot in my yard with more light for next growing season. I think that would increase my yield and the quality for sure.
After trimming the nugs were kind of light, and I think we honestly could've done a better job with maintaining our dry room conditions. The smoke wasn't grassy at all though, and there were clear flavors present, but I think we lost some quality due to the buds drying out too quickly.
So YOU personally top your Autoflowers? Cuz I accidentally just topped mine, I git it mixed up with another plant ended up topping thr Autoflower instead, and I'm super worried I've ruined her! Everyone I've spoken to warns against it. Strain
