Germinated in small glass of water for 3 days, added a splash of hydrogen peroxide to speed things along. Before planting in double cup, I poured them into a paper towel to admire (see pic).
They are both in 100% Foxfarm Ocean Forest. I have them out in the open, under a Aerogarden 45W LED Grow Light Panel (not the grow tent yet). Could only do 8 inches away from the light, but this was fine.
The stronger of the two plants went into 100% Foxfarm Ocean Forest (5 gallon) and the weaker plant went into a mix of BeyondPeat - Organic All-Purpose Raised Bed Mix and some other inexpensive soil I had laying around (and a few handfuls of Foxfarm). The shock of the transplant is making me re-consider starting them out in cups, however they do bounce back.
They both really took off with growth. I gave them a dose of FloraNova Grow and they didn't like that (but bounced back after a day or two). - not shown in pic.
Perhaps it was too much water with the nutrient, about half gallon each OR maybe I should have started with .5 tsp/gal.

* Yes, I over-watered them again, need to keep it under 3 cups of water each I think.
* I have no idea where to put the trellis, down near the pot or around the tops (or wait until flower), so it's above them for the moment.
* Gotten a little better on the over-watering.
* New nutrients to try this week (tomorrow perhaps). Heard about Element Nutrients, not sure how much to give them or if I can use both of them on the same day. Going with what's on the packaging (and adding at the same time).
* They did great with the amount suggested on the packaging!
* Still don't know if it's time for the trellis yet, so not using it.
* The smell, OMG, really strong now. I don't have the filter and tent sealed up properly so anyone who comes to my door knows what's growing (legal here so not really worried).
* It's getting fairly tall, 24" from the floor (with pot) and 20.5" from the top of the soil. Starting to think about when to start flowering, as I hear it can double in height. Maybe in a week or two... will re-evaluate this....
Absolutely not !
I’m a SCROG grower. You must fill up the trellis before switching to 12/12 cycle.
First clean up the legs and all the fan leaves covering the lower layer shoots. The plants or too messy they must be cleaned up.
Then, when the main apical tops start to hit the trellis, you bend them back under the net. And keep on doing so once the second layer shoots hit the trellis. Only at this time, when most of all the squares of the trellis have a shoot inside, you switch to 12/12 cycle.
To make it simple, the trellis must the full, all tops leveled in each squares before switching
* Trimmed for flower phase, always very difficult cutting your own babies.
* Switched left plant with right plant. Had to clean a spill and didn't realize they were in the wrong place. oh well.
* Started adding the "Flower Fuel" in the nutrient mix. Still just doing once a week, probably should have at least used up the entire gallon I mixed, but didn't. (Next time).
* Stopped using Myco+ (per instructions).
* Yes, the stretch has really kicked in, should have flipped to flower a week earlier. I don't have much room at the top of the tent with the blower, filter and stuff :-(
* Will need to cut those tops off or try to bend them down or something.
😩The smaller plant still looks healthy, so that's nice. However, the other one has been crispy and yellowing. Just been too busy to figure out what it's problem is.
Will try to do some research and see what it needs, as it's only the third week into flower I don't think this is natural.
My first cannabis grow here and I made a few mistakes but also learned a lot.
Even after my mistakes, my plant made it to harvest and hopefully after weighing, will show that I grew a decent amount.
Highly recommend this strain to anyone attempting a first grow, it can tolerate a lot. The second plant will stay in the tent for a few more weeks.
Yellowish leaves, white trichomes and amber pistils ... it was time to harvest. I think my biggest mistake with this was too many weeks on the vegetation phase, it just grew too tall and got baked by the light. Not a waste though, still seemed to harvest a fair amount, will weigh it after it's done drying in a closet. It's sister didn't grow as tall, so going to let that one flower a few more weeks
