growinthedark Opened the seeds on August 1 and grew them for a full two months. Transitioned to flowering 12-12 from October 1. Dropped all the leaves and took the necessary clones. Clitical Kush has good side branch growth, but Lemon Tree doesn't grow side branches much. I think there are ways to work with topping and LST, but it might not be suitable for a space-limited environment. If I do Main-Lining, it might turn out like Kush, so I plan to do that with the clones. They've been growing very well, so I'm looking forward to the harvest!

growinthedark It's been a week and they're starting to flower. The white flowers? are stretching out. They've grown a few centimeters in height, and the leaves are developing. I think they'll change a bit more and get bigger next week. The clones I took on October 1st have rooted. I just cut them and stuck them in rock wool, didn't use any liquid fertilizer or anything. All the hard work until now feels like a lie. I should be able to transplant them into pots in a few days.

growinthedark 10/15 Week 3 has started The flowers are starting to bloom quite a bit, but there's still no smell. I hadn't trimmed the lower buds for re-growing after the harvest, but it seems like there's not enough space for re-growing, so I might clean it up nicely with the leaves after this week is over ✂️ For now, they're growing smoothly.

growinthedark October 22nd: It's been 3 weeks, so I'm going to prune the leaves. This week, the watering doesn't last a week anymore. I'm giving 20% of the soil water. Since it's an 18L pot, I water 3.6L at a time. I'll update again on the 28th this week, and from now on, I'll update at the end of the week. October 28th: End of week 4 of flowering. Trichomes are starting to appear, and there's a slight smell now. Personally, I prefer the scent of lemon tree.

growinthedark 11/4 The buds of the kush are swelling up; it feels like they are transitioning from flowers to buds. The lemon hasn't changed much... maybe? Since the kush is 60 days and the lemon is 70 days, I wonder if that makes a difference. I hope it goes well!

growinthedark 11/11 6 weeks in, the Kush has started to show off its orange pistils. The buds are swelling up, but they still seem small; I think they'll get bigger. According to the breeder's guide, the flowering period is 60 days, but I have a feeling it might take an extra week or two. The Lemon Tree has also started to swell its buds; this one has a flowering period of 70 days, so it feels like it's taking its time compared to the Kush. I hope to get some pictures of the fluffy, swollen buds next week! 📸
