17.09 The plants vegged for 8 weeks. From the 4th week onwards, they had very little space, were attacked by thrips and soil mites, and experienced warm temperatures both day and night. Around the 4th week, there were issues with the lower parts of the leaves due to a lack of calcium and magnesium. To induce flowering, I switched them overnight, reducing the light cycle by an hour each day for three days. On the fourth day, I decreased the lighting time by 3 hours. The first week of flowering has been going on for two days now (15.09.2023). I'm using a spray for thrips, a combination of DISLIKE and SPRUIZIT. The population is small, but they are present. I'm also manually removing them.
20.09 - End of the first week. They are starting to stretch and I super cropped some of them. I accidentally cut off two tops ;P. There will be little harvest, but I hope that there will be more resin on the tops than on other plants ;).
21.09-28.09 The plants have a little too much nitrogen. This can be seen by its dark green color, clawed and crooked leaves. I give up the basic BAC fertilizer (you have to be careful with it, because it is easy to over-fertilize with nitrogen), but I leave the PK booster. I use Neem spray against thrips.
21.10-28.10 on some phenotypes there is an excessive amount of resin :). They grow very nicely, they are not stable in growth, but you must remember that they have gone through a lot in the growth phase.
6.11-13.11 After fimming and supercropping several times due to strong winds and too high temperatures, I now expose them to the stress of drying out. At the moment they show no signs of herms. This is a good sign, they probably won't herm anymore.
