Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

Starting the week with repotting. Roots were poking out the bottom, so I moved her to her definitive home. Needless to say she loved the extra space and has been growing like crazy. Really starting to appreciate the genetics. Growing strong in a symmetrical pattern, with a beautiful shade of green to complement it. Amazing to stare at. Even better with a spliff in your hand.

Another week growing strong! Took advantage of the last summer days here in the island to get her some real sunlight, which I can tell she loved by the boosted growth. Nothing like the real thing ☀️

At week three we start FIMing ✂️ Complemented by LST Intend to make a small batch of iceolator from my lovely girl’s buds, so we’re gonna maximise her yield and avoid a packed main cola by keeping her bushy and making sure all shootings receive enough light. Notice how her green is getting deeper as she matures too. Her genetics are responding very well to both techniques, I’m looking forward to the results.

Last week Veg completed. She has grown into a very robust structure and is at peak health. Can definitely see the results of the LST, since we’re going into flowering with many developed shootings that will manage to reach the top with no issue. Choosing to train when working with small spaces is a no brainer. Temperatures are starting to get lower as days go by too, which is great news. Looking forward to watch this gorgeous girl flower 🤩

Week of transitioning into flowering. The stretching is under control so far, I assume this is partially because of the LST, which I’m gonna carry on doing to make sure all the shootings are constantly exposed to enough light. She’s looking immaculate, her flowering will surely be a beautiful sight. Still running on very low water, the rainy weather is keeping ambient humidity rather high, but she seems to be thriving on it. Getting excited with her, can’t wait for the buds to start developing.
