I am still dealing with some dry edges. I was happy with this plant's progress from its struggling point last week. Coloration is more on point. BUT THEN I FOUND BUGS! Little white gooey-looking things that don't really move much unless plucked off the plant. I think they are white flies, but I'm still very unsure about that. Before I noticed the bugs I fertilized with Pride Lands Veg via top dress and I used Azos Beneficial bacteria for root development. AFTER I found the bugs I bolted outside to the garage to get my sprayer and filled it with plant wash. I doused the plants thoroughly and tried spraying off the bugs as much as I could. I sprayed the whole tent. I'm concerned and ignorant. all advice is welcome.

Considering the early stage of development of your plant I would not defoliate as of now, as it looks more like nutrient issues to me tbh. Those could be caused by PH through nutrient lockout. Maybe. A fully vegged plant could get away with it more easily, matter of fact, I take all leaves which are blocking any of the smaller budsites, even on autos. When the plant has a "stable base" its not a problem at all, IMO. In your place, Id tray to hold VPD relatively low, so you put least stress on your plant and try to (slowly) lower PH to around 6-6.2 range. You will see if it helps. Keep it up!

What are these small white bugs, and what is the best way to rid my plants of them without stressing them?

Ive looked into your diarie, If you're dealing with small white bugs, and they happen to be aphids, here's a gentle way to show them the door without stressing your plants: Introduce Beneficial Insects: Ladybugs and their larvae are natural aphid predators. You can release them near your plants to help control the aphid population. Neem Oil Solution: Neem oil is an organic option that works well against aphids. Mix neem oil with water and a small amount of dish soap, then spray your plants. This should be done in the evening or early morning to avoid sun exposure. Homemade Soapy Water Spray: Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with water and spray it on your plants. This can help suffocate and repel aphids. Ensure the solution is not too concentrated to avoid harming your plants. Remove Aphids Manually: For a hands-on approach, gently wipe or spray aphids off your plants with a stream of water. You can use a soft cloth or sponge for this. Remember to check your plants regularly and monitor the effectiveness of your chosen method. Combining a couple of these strategies can often provide the best results. The key is to be consistent and patient while allowing your plants to recover without undue stress. Best of luck in getting rid of those pesky aphids and restoring your plants to their happy, bug-free glory! Happy growing! 🌱🍀

Brown edges got me down. I'm sure its just humidity. I've been adjusting the light. Could it be more? whats your best seasoned advice to keep those edges looking crispy... (Good) ? not in the wrong way!

there! If you're dealing with brown edges on your plants, it could be a mix of factors. Adjusting the light and keeping an eye on humidity are good moves. Too much light can be a culprit, so finding that sweet spot is key. Now, if bugs are in the mix, and they're aphids, predatory bugs like ladybugs or their larvae can be awesome defenders. Outdoors, nicotine water (made from soaking tobacco) or a dish soap solution can help keep pests at bay. So, let's dial down the light, manage humidity, invite some good bugs to the party, and maybe introduce a natural bug repellent. Your plant will hopefully be rocking crispy (in the right way) edges in no time! 🌱✨

I also think there is some nutrient toxicity in my soil. Seeing how blue some of the coloration is.

@Mirslav, do you think upping my PH to 7 might help? Less absorption of nitrogen?
