Hello to everybody and welcome to my new diary. This one is very special for me because is my first experience in a grouth test and i thank a lot @SuperSativaSeedClub for this opportunity.
I tried to germinate all the seeds together at the same condition and only one survived; one of they never sprouted and with the other one i think that i did a mistake. When they came out in the 28th i noticed the root outside and the seed inside the substrate, so instead to help it covering the root and freeing the seed from the soil i did anything afraid to damage it. Therefore the day after i found totally burn at the base of the stem.
The seed that sprouted in the 30th came out very strong, at the time to put inside the final pot i noticed the roots very healty. In 5 days she was able to begin the vegetative phase.
At the time of transplant i did watering with only water because i previously did watering at her vase with the Bioenhancer using 0.5 g/L of water
1 L of water + pH-down 2 drops/L
pH: 6.37 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 27.4°C
1L of water + bioEnhancer 0.5g/L + 3 gocce/L pH-down
pH: 6.23 - ppm: 173 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 27.6°C
I use the Biobizz Lightmix how substrate mixing with perlite and vermiculite and i add at the base of the vase expanded clay.
For the first time i try the bio line of Green House Feeding.
Hello to everybody, finally the vegetation phase!!
I waited the 6th of september to consider her first day of vegetative week, that happened when i saw the first adult leaf.
At the first day of the week I added to the substrate BioGrow by Greeen House Feeding with top-dressing technique, I used only 2g/L of soil because the lightmix is prefertilized and moreover the plant was already young.
I did watering twice in this week: the first time i use only water; the second i add Bioenhancer.
1 L of water + pH-down 2 drops/L
pH: 6.37 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 27.4°C
1L of water + bioEnhancer 0.5g/L + 3 drops/L pH-down
pH: 6.23 - ppm: 173 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 27.6°C
Hello to everybody, here the second week of vegetation.
The aspect of the plant was very healty with an intense color of green, i decided so to do the topping in the middle of week.
She is giving me a lot of satisfaction how genetic to grow but also the choice to use the bioline of Green House Feeding. After a long time i finally see my plants completly healty 😍
In this week i did watering at the same day that i did the topping.
1 L of water + pH-down 2 drops/L
pH: 6.37 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 27.4°C
Hello to everybody, here the third week of vegetation.
Another good week, i only controlled with LST techniques the direction of the branch.
I did watering twice this time: the first one with BioEnhancer, after two weeks since the first application; the second with water.
1° : 1 L acqua + bioEnhancer 0.5g/L + 3 drops/L pH-down
pH: 6.5 - ppm: 173 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
2° : 1 L di acqua + pH-down 4drops/L
pH 5.8 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, this week flowed very good without issue. She looked thirsty between the end of the past week and the beginning of this so i raised the watering.
The plant showed the first signs of the necessity to feed again at the end of this week.
I splitted the watering in three times giving 1.5L each.
1.5 L di acqua + pH-down 4drops/L
pH 5.8 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, another good week. How i said the past week, the first day i fed again with bioGrow giving 1 g/(L of soil), less quantity respect the first time because i'll start the flowering phase in two weeks. I olso raised the bioEnhancer at 1 g/L.
I did some defoliation and LST to open the bush for the light penetration and the better areation.
I has watered 4 days:
1 L water+ bioEnhancer 1g/L + 6 drops/L pH-down
pH: 6.25 - ppm: 230 - EC: 0.46 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
1.5 L water+ pH-down 4 drops/L
pH 5.8 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
2 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.2 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
2 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.00 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, this week wasn't the better one, unfortunally i noticed only at the end that the plant had a fungus and I think that is septoria. This shit developed from the bites of thrips in fact i found some of their larvae under the lower leaves. I never met an infestation of thrips so i didin't recognize the bites on the leaves before the fungus.
I began to treat her and the other plants in my grow room nebulizing neem's oil and potassium soap (10ml/L of water each) every day for one week and then I'll control again.
I changed the watering because there was still high temperature in the room, I started to give water every day except for last and i raised the amount of it:
2 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
1 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
1 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, finally it's time to make some flowers 😎.
How I anticipated the past week, the plant is affected by a fungus (that i think is septoria) so i continue the therapy and I cut off the major part of sick leaves to avoid the progression of the disease. I was afraid to remove too much so I kept some leaves to olso check the evolution of this fungus.
At the end of the week I stopped the therapy and I saw an improvement in the condition of the plant, the upper part has lost its brown spots and has started to have the right green colour again.
The first day of the week i feeded the plant with BioBloom of Green House Feeding, i gave 3g/L of substrate with top-dressing techinque. That's not a big amount of nutrients for one application in all the flowering cycle but i use those for the first time so i prefer not to overdo it.
On the same day I also added the BioEnhancer (1 g/L ) to the water. I did watering four times:
-1.5 L water + bioEnhancer 1g/L + 8 drops/L pH-down
pH: 6.2 - ppm: 230 - EC: 0.46 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
-1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
-1 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.1 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
-1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, here the second week of flowering.
Finally I cleaned up all the fucking sick leaves and the plant turned to a better healt, infact she showed the first littles flowers. Naturally i nebulized another three times during the week the healing solution to prevent a second attack.
Pray with me for her health 😁
I did watering four times:
-1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, here the third week of flowering.
The plant looked in a good healt, she showed the first flower but she didn't stretch a lot a the end.
I did watering five times, the second i feeded with also BioEnhancer:
-1.5 L water+ bioEnhancer 1g/L + 8 drops/L pH-down
pH: 6.2 - ppm: 230 - EC: 0.46 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
two
-1.5 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
two
-2 L water + pH-down 3 drops/L
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, here the fourth week of flowering.
Respect the other plants in the grow room she seamed to not increase the mass of the flowers with the same timing. I was afraid she needed more nutrients given that she was older than others plants and she had a bigger structure of roots. So i feeded her again with BioBloom, minor quantity respect the first application (1 g/L of substrate). Moreover i used Bioenhancher (1g/L) also because i added the nutrients and the fungus septoria came back from the hell, fuck it!! I had to do a defoliation of the bads leaves :(
The week ended good, the fungus is under control more or less but i don't want nebulize anything more. The flowers finally get bigger, indeed the production of thricomes is amazing like also the smell make me fracking out.
I did watering four times, the first with BioEnhancer:
- 2 L water+ bioEnhancer 1g/L + 8 drops/L pH-down (x1)
pH: 6.2 - ppm: 230 - EC: 0.46 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
-1 L water + pH-down 3 gocce/L (x1)
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
-2 L water + pH-down 3 gocce/L (x2)
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 23.4°C
Hello to everybody, here the fifth week of flowering.
Finally I see the swelling of the buds and the must important thing they are litterally cover by trichomes. The smell is so intense, a mix absolutley crazy like between the BigBubble (the chewing gum) and earty/cheese flavour.
I belived that she was free by the fungus instead I found the same spot brown, this time I only cut the sick leaves to slow the spread. I didn't use the oil's neem and potassic soap to avoid spoiling the taste.
She is a very bushy plant and so resinous like a truly Kush plant.
I did watering three times:
-2 L water + pH-down 3 gocce/L (x3)
pH 6.0 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 21°C
Hello to everybody, here the sixth week of flowering.
Finally on the rigth rout, she's getting bigger. The buds are incredible compact and dense. She is the best one in my tent for thricomes production.
I did watering four times, the first of the week with BioEnhancer:
- 2 L water + bioEnhancer + pH-down 5 drops/L
pH 6.5 - ppm: 206- EC: 0.4 ms/cm - T: 21°C
-2 L water + pH-down 2 drops/L (x3)
pH 6.5 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm - T: 21°C
Hello to everybody, this journey is reaching the end
At the beginnig of the week i was not sure enougth about the maturation of the trichomes so i feeded her with Bioenhancer. I hope this don't compromise too much the taste of the flowers.
This plant make me crazy, she started perfectly, she was affected by thrips and septoria, she fighted very well and after all she finished in this way. Definitely the cultivation with the most twist and turns i've had, so i can say that the first growth test of my life was very emotionant. Thanks again to @SuperSativaSeedClub and @SSSC_John to give me this opportunity.
In this final phase the buds was covered by an enormous quantity of trichomes, the buds became more dense and compact. The smell is absolutley crazy, i feel a strong sweet/acid arome with a note of hearthy/cheese. I can't wait to try it and moreover do some DMO😎
The 05/12 i checked the trichomes of all the plants inside the tent, I looked at the same time the buds at the top, in the middle and at the low part of the plant . She showed this concentrations of trichomes:
Lactiginous 60%
Trasparent 35%
Amber 5%
The 9th or the 10th of dicember I'll do the harvest. That is the reason because i put inside this week olso the photos of the 06/12 first day of the 8th week.
This new strain is very amazing, very simple to grow. It have a really fast and strong reaction after all the trainings, not only the LST. It has a bushy structure but not too much dense, i think with the right balance. After the swicth to the flowering phase it doesn't stretch a lot, it grows 50% more than its size. I must say that i never did something to prevent the attack by thrips but unfortunately the plant has developed the sephtoria fungus from their bites but others two genetics in the same tent with thrips bites hasn't developed septhoria. That suggest to me that this strain needed some prevention even more so if you grow with an organic method.
Once I saw the flowers in the final stage i understood why 'Crystal White' is the name of this kush, the flowers are so covered by the trichomes with fews pistills that really look like a white crystal. The smell is something that i never tried before, is a mix of something like sweet fruity sour with strong earthy note.
Hello to everybody, the big day is here. On 10th december i did the harvest, a very looong day but so satisfying.
I never did an experience like this one before, I really love did this test aslo with all the difficults. At the end the only regret is the bad germination of the others two seeds.
During the harvest her smell covered all the others plants odor and this thing surpised me a lot. You can imagine how this thing exploded during the trimming!! Indeed the little amount of charas came out from the scissors was so intense, not only for the effect.
Now the drying phase start and togher with the cure process they will be foundamental to have the best result.
@cheech87, hello mate :)
I love this strain because it has a very particular terpene profile, farther it has super dense buds completely full of trichomes. I don't think it's an haevy feeder, i use the middle dosage normally, for her i did in a different way because it was attacked by a fungus and i tried to give her some bust with another little amount of feeding.
Many thanks for your full grow report and kind words, that's great! Hope that you're enjoying a great smoke to relax and think about the good things in life ;) let us know if you want to grow other SSSC strains, pick any strain(s) you like! Grower greetings, Dave
Wow buddy!! super nice buds forming up
What an amazing grow so far - good job and well done 🤝
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
