A bit frustrated bc I respected the Platinium Hydroponics growguide/calendar with all nutrients enough for 10L and my EC is still on 1.45, which I find pretty too high…
I emptied up some soup and added up some water to the tank to lower it down, but I dont understand what went wrong since i respected the dosage from Platinium.
I will add tap water to the soup to lower EC and add PH Up to higher the PH.
TBC!!
Some stretching of the main branch + defoliation. I decided to orient the top of the plant to the corners to leave space for secondary branches to grow in the center. Hope it’ll work!
Transition week to blooming phase went
sh**t as f*ck!..
I messed up with ec and humidity + lightening and here we go 😅😭
I corrected everything, finger crossed 🤞🏼
Huge temperature drops last week, 13° at night and some issues with air extraction. But it looks decent! Air humidifier is installed by now, it keeps a perfect 75% humidity inside the tent
Next project: upgrade the current air extraction for a full isolated one! 🛠️Work in progress ⏳⌛️⏳
Humidifier helped a lot and I’m getting used to giving more accurate levels of nutrients. Especially with the PH Up: I put waaaay lower quantities of nutrients than prescribed by the Platinium Hydro calendar so that I can level up my PH without exploding the EC level!!
I will keep updating 👀💨
Please don’t hesitate to share advice and to comment, respectfully as always ✌️🏻 I’m always eager to learn from mistakes!!
Second week of blooming (I guess?).
I managed to save some sub-colas that went sh*t during last week (see on the canope, a square of it is gone).
Temps are very low those days and I will be able to turn on heating only starting from Monday next week
I still have difficulties to maintain PH between 5.5/6.5 without exploding the EC lvl (I stay at 1.7 these days). Everytime I scoop my soup to add fresh water and PH+ to adjust, it stays good for one day and the next day the PH lowers down again 😫Any recommendations would be much appreciated 🙏
Besides that: I’m quite happy with the results so far. As a newbie I think I’m managing the best I can so far :)
Keep updated!
I rinsed all the soup for 24 hours with tap water to get rid of the excess nutrients (plants were too loaded) and replaced with soup with the right levels.
I've also readjusted my PH meter and it's showing!
Has an issue with a coconut rock blocking the pipe system and overwatering one pot but I managed to correct it on time.
I'm also happy to have been able to save the few colas that required emergency intervention 2 weeks ago! :D
Otherwise I raised the ScrOG net and adjusted the branches with LST techniques to have a canopee well distributed in surface and height.
I'll update regularly, feel free to bring your suggestions!
Plants grew exponentially for the last weeks and I want the buds to highlight.
According to the pic: what do you reco? Defoliation? Level up the net? Also I have so under colas that reach light difficulty - should I get rid of them?
Many thanks in advance ✌️🏻 💨
Your diary indicate you're in the 5th week of flowering… but your plants are clearly not. You shouldn't play with light schedule: when you switch from 18/6 to 12/12, don't go back to a 14/10 the next week and 12/12 the week after.
So, because you're technically not in flowering but stuck in between, I wouldn't recommend defoliation yet.
A bit frustrated that I don’t see flowers yet :( I defoliated quite a bunch of leaves that were taking all the space (see pictures). I hope flowers will appear soon after it!
Blooming continued! Next week I will swap nutrients :) Pretty happy with the results, the blooming stages are different on one or two plants but hey 🤷🏻♂️
Keep it posted 👀 smoke
Flowers are getting bigger!! I turned on the light to 100% capacity for the last stages of blooming.
Nice smell and visible trichromes all over the buds and leaves!!
I defoliated the unnecessary leaves and did some LST.
Keep it updated!
@Green_Man_420, I finally got my humidifier and dammmmn it works just perfectly 😍 It keeps the tent at 74% humidity with air extractor on
My next build-up: swap the air pipes for isolated ones and isolate the extractor. Work in progress! 🛠️
@Herbie101, thanks a lot pal’! ☺️ I will get my PH-solution tomorrow 👀 I think I will start readjusting the soup 😉 Please feel free to make suggestions 🙏
@BudBoutique, thanks a lot pal’ 🙏☺️
Yeah I wanted to maximize the 4 plants I have in my 100x100 tent! I hope the different techniques (SCRoG, defo, topping and LST) I used will pay 😌🍀
