A diary dedicated to the rest of my special girls. Check out my profile to see the Gorilla Glue up close (she will still appear here from time to time).
Germinated them directly in the soil with natural sunlight, achieving a 100% success rate.
All came out the soil with remarkably thick stems already, excited to see how these old school genetics will behave.
Lots of growth during their first week of life, reaching the end of it with 2 pairs of leaves each. We surely got some sturdy girls here.
Sunset Sherbet had some damage from struggling to hatch and is now slowly recovering, I’m sure she’ll catch up with time. Nothing good nutrition and proper lighting won’t fix.
Bruce Banner turned out to be incredibly big for her age, never grown a seedling like her! You can tell she’s already finding her germination vase too small. Making a statement with her presence.
Biscotti Mintz also looking big and very healthy.
Let’s watch them grow and see what they’ve got 🌱💪
First week Veg and the growth is remarkable!
Starting out with a very much needed repotting, which they all appreciated. Their colour got fully uniform and more vibrant after only a couple of hours. Their definitive locations in the grow tent are:
Top left - Sunset Sherbet
Bottom left - Gorilla Glue (you can check out her diary on my profile)
Top right - Bruce Banner
Bottom right - Biscotti Mintz
All are developing a strong structure with consistency.
Very little water is needed, the humidity in the tent is stable by itself. Don’t got much to worry about, just enjoying watching them grow. Perks of a good living soil.
This week they hung out of the tent to catch some natural sunlight ☀️
Fast and steady growth keeps increasing, with Bruce being the clear standout.
Extra bushy and huge, huge leaves! Very impressed by her structure at such a young age. Curious to see her evolution.
Sherbet is also on a very good track, can barely tell she had an issue to begin with. Biscotti also going strong.
Let’s keep it going 🚀
Starting out with FIM and LST ✂️
Using this combo to keep them short, bushy and to have as many sugar coated nugs as possible in the end.
They have all responded very well and shown no signs of stress whatsoever.
Bruce with a ridiculous amount of shootings forming, Sherbet, all recovered, with a structure perfect for training and Biscotti appreciating the extra light reaching her leaves after spacing her out more evenly.
So far so good. Gotta see how all the almost daily FIM will be looking like during flowering.
What a week!
Extraordinary growth, LST paying off with well developed shootings all over the place, ready to be taken to flowering. Kept going with the FIM as much as possible too this whole time. No signs of stress, they are as healthy as a plant can be.
Sherbet has turned the tables! She’s currently the tallest, thickest and fastest growing of all genetics, despite of her unfortunate beginning. Her future is looking very promising.
Bruce has turned into a tiny ecosystem at this point, the most packed with shootings and foliage. Her vase is like a jungle. Unbeatable growth pattern.
Biscotti has been able to keep up with her sisters, not as much in size, but fairly with the amount of developing side branches and overall impeccable health.
Such an interesting cycle, I freaking love old school strains. Cannot wait to smoke them.
Transitioning into flowering, going great.
Side branches are taking over. Training them with care so they all get enough light, always getting big leaves out of their way.
The genetic potential of each strain is really starting to shine through.
Keep getting impressed by the Sherbet each day that passes. Insane transformation from her first weeks of life, she is the strongest strain I’ve grown.
Biscotti has been effortless to care for. Going a bit slower than the others, leaning more on her indica features. Got a little birth defect on her last pair of leaves, but nothing major that won’t be fully recovered in the next copule of days.
Bruce on the other hand keeps effortlessly getting bushier each day that passes and doesn’t seem that will be stopping any time soon 😂 which is great, really making her momma proud.
Love watching these girls grow 🌱
