two of the plants in this tent have some leaves that look like this - i am growing in living soil - have been supplementing with shogun calmag - had to trim some of the more dead leaves - is this a deficiency of some kind or something else? Thanks!

Considering you're growing in living soil and supplementing with calmag, here are some possibilities: Nutrient Imbalance: Living soil should provide a balanced nutrient profile, but an imbalance could still occur. Check pH levels and consider a soil test to ensure nutrients are within the appropriate range. Calmag Issues: While you're supplementing with calmag, overuse or specific interactions might cause issues. Ensure you're following recommended dosage and consider adjusting if needed. Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity: Some nutrient deficiencies or toxicities can manifest as yellowing or spotting. A soil test or leaf tissue analysis can provide insights into specific nutrient levels. Pests or Diseases: Check for pests like spider mites or diseases that might cause discoloration. The presence of black dots could be a sign of pests. Watering Practices: Overwatering or underwatering can affect nutrient uptake. Ensure your watering practices align with the needs of your plants. Microbial Activity: In a living soil environment, microbial activity is crucial. Imbalances in the microbial community could impact nutrient availability.
