My Triple G FINALLY popped up out the soil.
My mistake was planting it inside the final growspace... 3 gallon pot. Idk if that had to do with it, also I THINK the shell of the seed was stuck cuz its bent just like the Purp Q.
ITS NOT THE 3RD WEEK-- I've seriously messed up on the diary dates, I planted these seeds Nov 29th 2023, I'll try to fix it. Its really like going on week 2
Great tight space between internodes, but the weeks are OFF. THE Autoflower Royal Dwarf-- popped up Oct 3rd, and it's now Oct 16th. So I have to fix the weeks on the grow diary---
Updated : 20 days old Royal Dwarf auto, Oct 3rd-20th 2023. ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS
It's 1 month old now, I've named the Royal Dwarf autoflower "Itty bitty"- she's small BUT already preflowering, her life is short so I'm happy she's smelling like a marijuana plant now, in week 4!
Who ELSE thinks they need a *preflower* option, instead of veg-flower
She's finally preflowering!!! Poor Itty Bitty has been through a lot, we must remember she was snapped in half by my kid -- I'm Just glad shes making buds at all!!! #FirstGrow
-Update: She's supposed to be small, so anyone wondering genetics smaller Autoflower strains. (ROYAL DWARF IS LEGIT THE STRAIN)
I'm determined , even tho Itty-Bitty is not a large plant- her yield will be fire. I'm gonna make sure her buds will be like bricks- very Potent.
Update its 11/17/23 and she's only 7 inches tall but has 8 bud sites on her!! Not topping this tiny tree
Shogun is taking the lead, in terms of size AND smell!!! Seriously she has not even started preflower, no white hairs and YET her aroma is amazing!!! Seriously I can't WAIT to smoke these buds. Shogun is the Ninja warrior, her genetics are Gorilla Glue #4 & Amesia Haze from RQS.
The 2nd plang in the lead is Itty Bitty who's tripled in size the last week. All my girls seem to like the environment I've made for them & are loving Life. 😎
Love the nugs coming In.
12/9/23 - Update, the Royal Dwarf auto is very tint. She's only 1 foot tall and already has 25 bud sites! I'm very happy with the flowers coming in, no 🍌 nanners or hermie characteristics! She's 100% female, and fits her name "Itty-Bitty"
Itty-Bitty is now 15 inches tall, Strain: Royal Dwarf-- so she was not meant to get very big anyways!- VERY happy with the 25-30 buds, she will not grow amy taller, now focusing on fitting up her nuggets. She's the oldest of my 7 strains this run- popped up from soil Oct 3rd 2023. Do not plan on harvest until 2024.
THIS Auto, the Royal Dwarf lives up to its name! She's slowing vertical growth at only 15 inches tall--' however I'd like to remind everyone it's Quality over Quantity in this scenario. I'm trying to create dense and brick like nuggets on this small girl! Itty-Bitty has got GREAT Genetics, as she is not SUPPOSED to get super large. Royal Dwarf is among the SMALLER Autoflower strains in the world.
So at under 2 feet she's just over 1 month into Flower & I know the buds will TRIPLE in size-- if I allow them by prolonged harvest. I should probably consider flushing soon? I been using Strong Stuff guys.. plus CalmG and JUST started adding Molasses for the microbes in the soil. Even though she's short- she's gonna have killer terps, I can shock her in this WINTER grow in the end.
ITTY-BITTY..! The strain Royal Dwarf from RQS lives up to its name! She's a genetic mixture of Skunk + Ruderalis And is looking to be a very powerful lil Autoflower. Short. At only 15 inches tall and yet growing 30 nuggets so far!
She (Itty-Bitty) is one of the plants I've selected to enter into the 2024 Autoflower Cannibus Cup which is taking place in Las Angeles next year! Wish me luck you guys!!!
OMG for my first grow--- OR any grow-- THIS bud is strong.. it could be my green thumb, but this plant is only 15 inches tall & produced over 25 nuggets
I always said that Itty-Bitty is a small & short plant, however her BUDS are nuggets. Very very very skunky. Probably a day or night buzz, depending on the person but it's probably over 22%(Mine, not the average Royal Dwarf)
also Itty Bitty is STILL growing, I have not cut down ALL of the plant yet, so I have not put in the yeild amount. As I'm in partial harvest but I'll give a good educational guess & weigh what is left.
HER buds are DANK. Even the leaves have been getting me buzzed and smoking it half wet I was GONE! I love this strain, it's an upper high and I pat myself on the back for a successful First Harvest.
To be continued... Only did a partial harvest so far, the tops of Itty-Bitty have BEEN DANK!! she is a Royal Dwarf indeed, living up to her strain name! She was born on Oct 3rd 2023 and for an Autoflower it took her a few weeks LONGER to actually Autoflower lol. It's 12/28/23 and uve only harvested the top 3 Main Colas, (made up of 9 nuggets) they taste just fine, even without being cured yet--- IM blazing ♡ amd can't wait to taste the true flavor afterwards!
So far I give the buzz a 8/10 ... maybe even a 9.
Not bad for my 1st Grow solo.
I'll continue to update when I've harvested the rest of this lil beauty.
Always best to start in your final pot just sp ur aware
More so with autos , less shock . So u don't want to really handle autos like that (nor top autos) unless ur environment is top notch (as in u have VPD , DLI , Ec Ph all correct and working together then u can top and transplant type if thing)
Hope that makes sense. Just saw u weren't to positive if that would make it grow slow or be bad. It's the best option , I usually soak my bean, then papwr towel till it cracks/shows a tail , then I plant right in either 5 or 7 gal in soil or a 3 gal for coco.
But best of luck with ur Lil ladies !
@Grow4Releaf, Did you see how she transplanted it? Genius idea, she just put the smaller pot inside the larger one, no stress at all. Ive topped autos before, bit only the bigger ones.
Hi,
They're looking good.
My RD is a little behind where it should be, I under fed them to start, but she's healthy.
I'll keep watching yours, it's good to compare.
Have fun!
@IndicaVibeMe, ti do un consiglio, le autofiorenti non hanno la forza specialmente se sei alle prime armi di ricevere un trapianto e comunque svilupparsi bene per la fioritura che avrà a breve.. quindi subito nel vaso finale! Buona fortuna! :)
@Gabroxxx, will it grow FASter now that it's in a smaller pot, better air flow in the soil, the big pot was choking the seedling roots, and thick soil. I hope now that I fixed the problem the Triple G will grow back on track
@Gabroxxx, I got 6 friends, needs all the luck I can get! questions: I started a different seedling in a big 3gallon pot -so I recently just transplant into a smaller1 cuz it was growing slow, will
@DeepWaterGrower, I have a few grow lights, but only 2 are like Top of the line--. Lumigrow 650W, then another full spectrum 1000W [haven't used it yet] I stick with the Lumigrow 650 *it's got dials* for now & combine with a green light, & smaller LEDS
The longer the pot, the longer plants will stay in veg.
Once the roots hit their end point they tell the plant it can't go further and goes into flowering. Autoflowers go off time rather than photosynthesis but you will still delay them longer than short and fat pots/containers.
@Dabking,
High, ;)
Because I want to use an auto I was wondering WHy it stayed in VEG. so long. Now I read that it has to do with the lenght of the rootsystem. I have been searching for info on this. Want to use the Royal Dwarf but want some more info before I start. Any good link/tutorial on this before I plunch into my first growth?
Thanks in Advance,
Renco42033
Hi mate,
I wouldn't put her in 12/12 if I were you, autos want the light so I'd just let her run.
Give her as much light as you can and hopefully she'll catch up.
@IndicaVibeMe, if something's working then why not stick with it but it would suggest that it's not an auto. I'd pm RQS and see if this happens sometimes.
@IndicaVibeMe, in my limited experience with autos they've all gone in to flower on their own at week 4.
If yours didn't I'd double check that you are growing an auto and you can always msg RQS and see what they say.
High,
My 1st post ever here hoping it's within guideline.
Loving the info, I have a question about it beeing a auto flowering (I pressume) howcome the 7 weeks of vegetative stage. The height of less then 40cm (38.1) was this without topping Her?
I think you'll have a beauty on yer hands.
GoodGrow and a Good 2024 for everyone,
Renco42033
@Renco42033, also: this royal dwarf was made from a male Ruderalis father plant and a Skunk phenotype Mother, so perhaps the Moms genetics showed up more dominant in my seedling? All autoflower are different even those from the same batch.
@Renco42033,
Yes correct, I've never topped the Royal Dwarf, she's the only one I didn't do much training on.
Well actually MY weeks are off on my grow diary, i will try and fix it. She popped up out of soil on Oct 3rd, and she didn't start flowering until I put her in 1 day full darkness. (5-6 weeks is more accurate, that's when I first saw her gender appear) still its longer then my other Autos who stayed in veg for only 2 weeks
I know Itty-Bitty WOULD have automatically flowered eventually--but I was eager to see the white hairs. When I put her on 12/12 she switched, immediately.
I know some might disagree but that's what happened with MY auto, I don't know why she stayed in veg so long, but it WAS a month & 1/2 before she started to preflower
Also my plant was possibly stunted early on, she got hurt and I had to transplant. But yeah this is my 1st Grow too but I learned from a Master Grower, so any questions feel free.
Usually Autos do no veg so long, but this one did until I forced her to bloom lol
Hi mate,
I wouldn't put her in 12/12 if I were you, autos want the light so I'd just let her run.
Give her as much light as you can and hopefully she'll catch up.
