Baconbutty 3 seeds placed into a paper towel on Saturday until germinated & then placed into the soil. All 3 seeds had successfully sprouted by Wednesday 27th of September marking this as day 1.
Baconbutty Plants are growing quite slowly probably due to none ideal VPD, I’ve had to add a heater to the tent which is lowering the humidity substantially.
All im doing at the moment is giving them about 300ml of water per plant 2-3 times a week.

Baconbutty Start of week 3 I had my first go at LST, it seems to be going okay but I couldn’t quite anchor the stem correctly and the plants are very short making it difficult to bend over past the next node down. They look awful but I’m trusting the process lol & it’s not a bad first effort.
At some point during the week I upped my water to about 1L per plant around every 3 days & I also increased the LED till it was reading around 320PPFD giving me a DLI of roughly 23, I’ll be increasing this at the end of the week.
I snapped the main stem on my best looking plant, sad times, I’ve put a tie around it to try keep it in place with hopes it welds itself back together, fingers crossed.

Baconbutty The plants are still very short, just hoping I get a decent stretch, I adjusted the LST stakes & wires every day or every other day to ensure they grow nice and wide, I’m also just doing some standard leaf tucking.
Flowering started to show on a couple of the plants this week so I decided to give them their first feeding of 2-8-4 bloom top dressed at 3ml/L along with a handful of worm castings. (Day 32)
The plants are showing some signs of nitrogen toxicity (dark leaves and clawing new growth) but no burnt tips so I’m not too worried as they’ll probably use up a good amount during the stretch, also the feed I’ve just given will probably take a couple weeks to become available to the plants anyway.
I continued to water around 1L of water per plant every 3 days or when dry.
One of the plants is showing a cool mutation most of the tops have either 3/4 nodes (see photos) so rather than the standard 2 branches & leaves coming out a single node this plant has 4 branches & 4 leaves coming out some of the nodes. It may get very bushy very quick, I’ll be interested to see if this has any impact on yield.
I upped the LED’s every other day until the end of the week they’re running just under 500 PPFD & 36 DLI. I’ll continue to bump it up slightly every few days until the DLI is reading around 45 providing the plants still look healthy and happy.
Your grow is looking great. I wouldn’t stress about the size as I don’t think they’re growing slowly at all. You seem to be at the same size as me after three weeks. I look forward to following along….best of luck with your grow.
