I think she’s pretty much done with vertical height growth, but the buds are fattening up. I added BioBizz Bio-Grow to the nutes this week and I think that contributed to the bud growth. Some stigmas are starting to turn amber as well. There’s good development of flowers lower down on the plant, probably thanks to LST, so I’ll probably have a good bit of popcorn buds in my harvest. At this point, I can see the finish line in site and want to get as much bud bulk (lol) as possible before harvest. Trying to keep an eye on her so that I can properly time my flush. Also, she’s growing in a grow tent on my balcony and it’s starting to turn cold here, so fingers crossed that doesn’t have a negative impact here in the home stretch.

This week pistils really took a turn towards amber. By the end of the week, more fan leaves are turning yellow. Hoping for a little more calyx fattening. I think this week will be last week of nutes before flush, as it looks like she’s 2-3 weeks away from harvest. Any thoughts about timing appreciated!

This was the last week of nutes, and it looks like a good calyx swelling has taken place. I plan to flush for a week and then harvest. Trichomes look great, about 10-15% amber at the moment and oh so frosty ! This week upcoming I’ll be planning my drying set-up. Am also considering a progressive harvest, where I snip the three largest colas and come back two weeks later for the lower buds. Any advice appreciated!!

This is flush week and there’s a noticeable change in the speed of water uptake. Was hoping to harvest at the end of the week, but despite some amber trichomes on the sugar leaves, the buds look like they still need sometime to turn. Plan to give her another 4-7 days and hopefully harvest!

So close to harvest but hoping more a bit more amber on the buds. Second week of flush, plan to chop her down by mid week.

You must be getting close harvest! Looking forward to your next post.

@Haplo, also, the more I think about harvest the more I think whole plant is the way to go, at least for my first grow. I think I’ll use my grow tent for drying, so best to keep it simple.

@Haplo, I would describe the scent the same. Not too strong, but giving off whisps of sugar and vanilla, sometimes hints of pine. I really like the sweetness and plan to give her an extra long cure to try and coax out the flavor.

Haha I was like wait what!! They were posting while I was writing lol She is looking great. Your timeframe looks to be on point. I don’t know that you would need a staggered harvest but if you do go that route I think a week would probably be sufficient for the rest to catch up. Like I mentioned before a lot of the harvest comes down to personal preference and how fast your plant matures. Edit: what kind of smell is does she have? Mine is very mild scent but getting stronger. Smells sorta like a berry vanilla. Amazing

She is looking great! I think she still fattening up too. Mine started yellowing a bit too even with an extra dose of nutes so I am just figuring it’s her natural cycle and it’s getting colder by me. I always just watch and let the plant tell me when she is ready. Your harvest & flush times seem about right though . I usually do a 5 - 7 day flush before harvest. Your flush really depends on the soil type/ratio you’re using and per personal preferences. Excited to see how she turns out as I plan to grow this strain again.

@Bugsby98765, It’s definitely fattening up. As long as it isnt too cold, you might get some nice colors on it and it’ll help with the resin production if the humidity is down. If you need any help just let me know I am still new and learning myself. At times I feel like I just mastered riding a bike that goes from peddle to Harley and I just realized that my training wheels are still on haha You might end up flushing at the same time or even before me lol I tend to let mine go longer. I am always experimenting and testing things out. Like harvested at different times for the effects. I have mostly concluded it’s Stoned & Sleepy Stoned. If I figure out another I’ll let you know!

@Haplo, thanks so much, I’m also watching your updates as you are about one week ahead of me and Your experience with when you flush / harvest will be really useful for me!! Best of luck!

She is looking great and sooo close too. I bet you’re excited/nervous with this being your first harvest. I know I was. I always have to remember patience because they start smelling so good and I am like well what’s a few days early? Lol It’s still great stuff but if you want the amber you need to have patience. If you need any advice for your harvest you can always message me. My first harvest I let them dry too long. I had the humidity and temp mostly right but my buds weren’t very dense so they dried quicker than the 6 or 7 days it took for the stem test method to work. Good luck with your flush & harvest!

@Haplo, thanks! Yes, it’s so close but I’m holding out for a bit more amber. A little concerned about the drying time as well and saw some blogs online that recommended using a wood moisture reader as a gauge of the dry process? We’ll see, but yes, the stem snap is the best technique I’ve heard of. Excited to see your own harvest!!

I agree with you. I use my tent for drying and the first time I had a single harvest with multiple plants, I had to order an el cheapo tent just for drying. You did a great job on your LST so it looks like most of it is getting great light. If you need any advice on drying and curing let me know. Everyone has their own way but the one thing I learned is that you can’t put moisture back in the bud. You have humidity packs but after a certain point they just won’t help. So I tend to cure my bud with a little more moisture and let the burping and humidity packs do the rest for a month or so. No mold as of yet and I have flavorful, slow smoking, sticky buds. Edit: Also some of the bigger fan leaves that are yellowing can be cut. Now that you’re in your home stretch you can take a few more leaves off to let light hit the rest of the buds, trust me it won’t hurt your end product.
