rucucu94 Day 1: First day outside of the rucu cucu, preparing the living soil, with 50L of professional Living Substrate (already prepared) + 50L of compost mix (Humus, Aviary Compost, Mushroom Compost, Fish Compost) + 1L of Bokashi + 1L of Mix Powder (Azomite, Dolomite, Bone Meal, Fish Meal, Feather Meal) + A layer of mulch, dry leaves, bark, wood chips. We are settling the soil, in about 5 days, we will transplant it. So many leaves due to a pruning we had to do on another tree.
Day 4: 4 days later, it looks happy and is adapting well to the outdoors, today it was watered with mycorrhizae. Besides being watered with mycorrhizae, we injected it near the roots with a syringe full of mycorrhizae, it’s something I came up with, I can’t guarantee its effectiveness.
Watering is done with purchased water, when it rains the idea is to collect rainwater. Since chlorine would kill the fungi and microorganisms.

rucucu94 We built the little wall to improve the aesthetics a bit, we put up the fencing so my dog doesn't go through and break it, at least while she's small; maybe when she's stronger we'll take down the fencing. Then with the plant, I was happy, with its strong leaves facing the sun in its pot. In the evening, we did the transplant, and while doing it, we sprinkled MICROVITA (TOPCROP) on the roots. We made an apical cut and today we also watered it with store-bought super water. And we'll see how the week goes... Update, we have a cistern, I consulted with my trusted seller and he says it's very good water to use. So from now on, we'll be using the rainwater that goes from the roof of my house to the cistern. The water from the cistern was unused. Day 13: We believe the plant has entered flowering, we're going to put a light that extends the day by an hour; if I'm not mistaken, here in Uruguay there are currently 13 hours of light.

rucucu94 We took off some leaves and the lower buds, we think it's already coming out of flowering to go back to vegetating, it's a shame about the lost days. We assume that at least the roots have strengthened in the soil, so at least when it starts to vegetate with all its might, it will be well established in the ground.

rucucu94 The white spots are wood ashes that fell there, then those holes appeared on the leaves, but it looks good anyway. And it seems that it's definitely vegetating. We added a mulch of dry leaves from a anacahuita. We're turning on a light from the back for about an hour so it can absorb the veg.

rucucu94 At the end of week 5 and the beginning of this one, here in Uruguay, we had a few days of heavy rain. The plant looks good, the only thing we don't know is why the leaves come out in sets of 3 instead of 5. We think it might be due to revegetation, but we have no idea. There's not much time left until we hit 14 hours of light here; currently, we have 13 hours and 45 minutes of light. I forgot to take pictures, but we have 2 cuttings we made on each side of the bed. We don't know if they'll survive, but it seems like they might. If anyone knows why the leaves come out in sets of 3, we would appreciate the info.

rucucu94 Day 42: We did a leaf defoliation and with the "M", some wires shaped like m, we opened the plant a bit, so that way it grows and spreads its branches more. Day 47: In person, there was a significant growth for just 5 days, at least compared to how it was before. Now it's really going up!

rucucu94 We did an apical cut on the same stem as the previous one, but lower down because we thought it had caught a fungus in the hole left by the apical cut, and now with the new apical cut, we applied a product to seal the wound. We feel it might be entering flowering, although it seems quite early to us, we're not sure yet. It started to give off an aroma. We just started watering it now with FPJ, which are fermented plant juices; it's a technique to make organic fertilizer rich in microorganisms for our plant.
?Is there anyone who knows roughly when flowering starts in the southern hemisphere? I'm in Montevideo exactly?

rucucu94 We took apical cuttings and made clones. We think it has an excess of FPJ since its leaves became curved; the color is fine, but the tips are curved to one side. If anyone knows more precisely what it could be, that would be great. And then, if I'm not mistaken, the left side gained more volume. There were some of the previous apical cuttings that were meant to help gain more volume on that side. Sorry for the photos; I'll upload some better ones later.

rucucu94 Sorry for the photos, I took them for reference. Well, first of all, it was a week of a lot of storms, rain, and humidity. The worst thing that can happen during flowering. Second, I tried to do super cropping since the branches kept exceeding the canopy and they were getting light at night. And it turned out disastrous, my first time. But the other tops that exceeded the height were done by my buddy who knew how to do it (I don't have a photo, I'll update later). And third, due to the humidity, you can see in the photos how mold appeared; from what I could observe, it was just that little bit, which has already been removed. Let's see how we continue.
