FECO Gummies Recipe
FECO Preparation
Ingredients & Tools
1 oz cannabis (decarboxylated)
Everclear (grain alcohol, high proof) – enough to cover cannabis
Mason jar(s) with lid
Freezer
Cheesecloth
Coffee filter (brown, unbleached preferred)
Double boiler setup (Instant Pot on “Warm” or equivalent)
Good ventilation (no open flames!)
Steps
1. Decarb: Bake cannabis at 240°F (115°C) for ~40 minutes. Cool.
2. Freeze: Place cannabis in a mason jar and freeze overnight along with the Everclear.
3. First Wash: Add just enough frozen Everclear to cover cannabis. Shake vigorously. Return jar to freezer.
Shake every 4–6 hours over 24+ hours.
4. Strain:
First strain through cheesecloth.
Then pass liquid through a coffee filter into a clean mason jar (may take ~30 min).
Squeeze cheesecloth well to extract all liquid.
5. Evaporate: Place jar of tincture in a double boiler on medium-low/warm. Let ~90% of alcohol evaporate (3–4 hours).
⚠️ Safety: Never use flame, always ensure good ventilation.
6. Use Immediately: While still warm and liquid, add FECO to gummy mixture (before it thickens). Remaining alcohol will cook off during gummy preparation.

Gummy Preparation
Ingredients
1 pack flavored Jello
2 packs Knox gelatin
¼ tsp citric acid
½ cup cold water
¼ cup corn syrup
Warm FECO extract (from above, ~28 g from 1 oz starting material)
1 tsp sunflower lecithin
½ tsp lemon juice
Small pinch cornstarch (for finishing)
Steps
1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a small pot, combine Jello, Knox gelatin, and citric acid.
2. Bloom Gelatin: In a separate cup, dissolve corn syrup into cold water. Add this liquid to the pot and stir. Let sit 5 minutes.
3. Heat Gummy Base: Place pot on medium-low (setting 3–4). Stir until dissolved (do not boil). Cook ~5 minutes.
4. Incorporate FECO: Whisk in warm FECO, sunflower lecithin, and lemon juice. Continue heating and whisking a few minutes until smooth.
5. Pour into Molds:
Warm your candy funnel with hot water (outside only).
Pour gummy mixture into funnel, let bubbles rise for ~1 min, then fill molds.
6. Set Gummies: Freeze molds for ~20 minutes or let cool at room temperature.
7. Finish & Cure:
Remove gummies from molds.
Air dry on a rack covered with cheesecloth for ~24 hours.
Toss lightly in cornstarch to prevent sticking.
8. Store: Freeze gummies in a Ziploc bag inside an airtight mason jar.

Hey! Hope you season's going good, i'm absolutely loving that Blueberry Pie F1! We have an Atmospheric river moving in, so i'm doing an early harvest of the tops and let the rest ride out a few more weeks, but surprisingly only found a few small cases of budrot, she's handling our 98% humidity like a champ, but not sure how much longer!
I've NEVER made hash before, but I nabbed some bubble bags, and froze 25oz of fresh nugs off a small 7gallon BPF1 I had. Any tips for a hash beginner?! I have a Rosin Bud M1 press, so I plan on pressing the full melt hash after for some live rosin. No freeze dryer, so small fridge with some massive desiccants will have to do.
@Pjm70, hey there. I didn’t notice this comment before (I think, but who knows, right?), but the Skunk 2.0 from Ganja Farmer was quite good. I think Sensi Seeds had the original Skunk and they likely still sell it. Cheers.
For a skunk derived strain, their Ganja Farmer’s Fast Cheese was a fave from all the strains I grew last year.
@MarryJuan, thanks,eh? Sorry I didn’t notice a message here. Check out Hash Bud and Candyland manifolds which are my record plants. Harvesting big 11Roses x Super Skunk in next day or two that might be bigger than those two. Anyway cheers and thanks.
Hi,
Newbie here with a question (probably stupid for an expert).
I've researched and researched, now I'm confused.
Growing with Coco coir mixed with perlite (that's it).
I have GP3 nutrients and 7 days into my grow.
When do I start feeding?
(I have photos of them)
@Supasmiley, oh, sorry man, I didn’t notice this message til just now. I didn’t realize there might be messages here.
I’ve never tried growing in coco coir and perlite but the nutrients would have to be provided almost like in a hydroponic setup. So in answer to your question, I’d imagine pretty much right away but likely with a bit weaker than label recommends solution to start. I’ll check your diary to see how it went. 😎
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, yeah, and fast with the replies too.
Sorry didn’t see this earlier. Near Edmonton so we get lots of nice sun in the summer with wild temperature swings to keep things interesting.
I grew the original F1s right from DJ Short. Only one out of 10 was the best Blueberry I've ever seen. Cloned it for years. But spider mites lives it too much.
