PussyWagon6969 Started seedlings directly in PH'd soil with a Ziploc bag humidity dome. 5/6 plants sprouted within 4 days. There's an heirloom tomato in the middle for the sake of trying to grow a tomato :) After sprout, they all started off with a bit of heat stress from the humidity domes getting too hot. Once I removed the dome and gave the plants a few days; they're starting to perk back up. Since these are regular seeds provided from a coworker, I'm looking forward at my first attempt of topping and mainlining.

PussyWagon6969 Looking very healthy. The new lights are really speeding things up...they all grew new sets of leaves in just 12 hours yesterday! At this rate, I’ll probably be topping the first set of leaves within a week. Since it’s my first time topping, I’m not sure if I should wait to transplant first or just do it in the solo cups?

PussyWagon6969 Big week! Couple things that happened: -Upgraded my tent size to 36"x20"x62" -Transplanted all plants to 1 gallon super roots air pots -Lowered lights to 24" above plants I used the two solo cup method for transplanting and the results were perfect. ZERO shock, they seem to be growing like they were never transplanted at all! They're really loving the extra space because the lights are no longer angled to fit inside the tent and the temperature is about 4 degrees lower on average (graphs in photos). I'm thinking it's because there is more even light distribution across the canopy. Some plants are on node 5 while others are still on 3/4. I believe I should be able to begin the first top at node 3 by the end of this week (waiting for node 6). The plan is to main line all plants.

PussyWagon6969 Looks like they've recovered from the topping and transplant last week and are beginning to grow new nodes with haste! I'll start with a light 1/4 strength dose of veg nutes once the new growth gets to 3 nodes (at 1.5 nodes now).

PussyWagon6969 This week all plants hit 4 nodes and are growing with vigor. Today (day 29), I decided to perform the final topping by removing nodes 4 and 2 from each stem. We're getting hit with a random heat wave so reinstalled my AC unit to keep temps down. Yesterday was slightly warmer than usual and I've noticed some pheno's from this lot do not handle heat well at all... very stressed even at 82F. So praying my little AC will do the trick and get me through to cooler temps.

PussyWagon6969 Noticed two of the plants started showing some deficiencies in the lower leaves but the PH was well within range. I figured the soil might finally be tapped on nutes so I began feeding 1/2 strength veg nutes + cal-mag today (10/28). In addition to the first feeding, I performed some real LST on all main colas and lowered the lights to 18" above the canopy. Coming from only growing autos, it feels like I've been vegging forever but I'm remaining patient and praying that a few of these are a girls. Update (11/1): Opened the tent and was presented with a nice skunky smell. Did some light defoliation as well.

PussyWagon6969 Decided to pull 4 leaves off of each plant this week. Though, I think it was premature. Also, i noticed there’s a little deficiency and stress going with the plants. I think the plants are slowly becoming root bound and since it’s so early I decide to purchase 3 gal fabric pots. Will transplant next week.

PussyWagon6969 Big beginning to this week! Transplanted all plants into 3gallon fabric pots to give roots some more room. So far so good but i did notice two of the plants growing some things in between nodes that I’m not used to seeing as I’ve only grown auto feminized plants before. Could these two being showing their sex this early? Worried they’re male and would like to get them out of there as quickly as possible...

PussyWagon6969 Sorry for ghosting GD! Been busy over the holidays with family in town, work, blah blah... Anyhow, two of the five ended up being female and are feeling sticky and smellin stinky! Just worked them up to almost 75% strength flowering nutes. No real issues were had in my blackout period other than two times where I underwatered during the early stages of flower but that's it. Trichome pics to come in next week!

PussyWagon6969 Well it was a cold and rainy week here in SoCal but the ladies weren't too negatively impacted! Although, humidity was higher than normal, the buds seem to be in good health with no signs of rot (kept them carefully dry). Wednesday (1/16) was the last feed and I'll begin the flush now with plans to chop on Saturday 1/26/19. I'll put up some trich pics of both plants later in the week for the curious...there's a chance I let this go until 2/2 but haven't decided yet.
