Planting pineapple Express auto crossed with unknown wild cannabis strain. Seeds germinated under 48 hours. Using plastic pots covered with cling film to keep the moisture level up. Growing on the window facing south as it seems to get most of the light during the day. These are some seeds i found on my outdoor summer cycle grow, so not sure who the daddy is. The soil is some random universal stuff, and it has the base nutrients already added.

During the first few days after germination, they were stretching quite a bit and I topped the pot with soil to support them. Day after the leaves had gotten withered and i used toothpicks to support them. Another day later, the plant was totally dead. How can i prevent this?

Less water start in clone cubes on heat pad enclosed holding moisture… water daily keeping moist not wet… move clone cub to dirt cover water some and light 24 hours for 5-10 days then 18/6

Its soil, but i see no perlite, plus its heavily preloaded and enriched by you, any small delay to water and plant roots burn heavy in such young and sensitive times .. My thoughts....

Coco/perlite at 70/30 Plant half inch deep and slightly cover. Mist coco until damp. 2 or 3 times a day. Don't allow it to dry much during first week. Don't drown the thing though. The less perlite you have the more water retention the coco has so be careful over over watering. This is why we normally just use a spray bottle and mist it with 5 or 6 sprays 2 or 3 times a day. This method is tried and true. If done correctly and with ample lighting the plant will grow. Unless it's just shit genetics. Heard good things about barney's farm, but never grew it myself. Sorry for your loss Goodluck on your next grow.

For seeds I use a heat pad and starting mix there is no nutrients in the soil… you can use cloning cubes also keeping moist I can get away with light water once a day and it’s ok to let dry up some you want moist not wet. Also a humidity dome and 24 hours of light for first week. Are good places to start. I’m guessing too much water.
