@BigDaddyK, Great advice there, much appreciated. I did consider going in that direction myself but since this is my first grow I just thought I'd start out with the basics. Something for the future perhaps! 👍
@Nemlu,I'll be honest with you , I always had issues with soil drying out ,when they are little they don't drink a lot and I would be careful not to over water . Watering is kind of a feeling , you lift pot , does it feel light ?, is the top soil dry ? It's a little bit like using the force - in my opinion you should water until you get a small amount of run off from the bottom , but there are others who water less and more often.
Part of the reason I moved to Deep Water Culture is that I never have to bother with watering , I just top up every day , but boy can they drink 🍹.
