Did a soak for a little over 24 hours and then popped the germinated seed into a rapid rooter, took 4 days and it sprouted looking very healthy. Will be transplanting to a solo cup then a 15 gallon fabric pot of the coast of maine stonington blend, doing top dressing amendments as needed

Transplanted her to a solo cup with coast of maine stonington blend soil. She was kinda droopy at transplant (overwatered a bit), but she perked right up and got herself growing fast overnight. I set up an automatic irrigation system with drippers and I love it. Have it set to run for 7 seconds twice a day, and so far so good. Next week I’ll be turning on my second galaxyhydro LED, so she can grow bigger even faster. I have only used the one light so far. Can’t wait till harvest already. I plan on topping and using the scrog method to make sure she can fit in my 5 foot tall tent. I’ve seen all the stretchers on here. I guess we’ll see if my blurple light gets it as big as the full spectrum lights everyone has now. Only time will tell

Transplanted her into her final 15 gallon pot. I only have 10 gallons of soil in the pot as of now, as the plant was root bound in the solo cup so I had to transplant right away before I could buy more soil. So maybe I’ll top off the soil when she grows a little more, and I’ll definitely be using some dry organic fertilizer either way to top dress. Turned up the watering time but made it spray once a day for 10 seconds, so it wouldn’t be overwatered and I can choose if I want to water it the second time in a day if she looks thirsty. Hope to see a lot of growth this week. She basically exploded in the week in the solo cup, so maybe we’ll see her grow quite a bit. Happy halloween 🎃

The plant recovered well from transplant. Forgot to mention during week 2 that I switched on my second LED as planned. The plant is being grown organically, I have not added anything to my Coast of Maine Stonington Blend and she isn’t showing any deficiency. Very happy with the soil. Just have been ph’ing tapwater and filling up the reservoir for the drippers. The plant is very healthy and growing well, and is even giving off a faint gassy scent already. She has developed about 4 nodes not counting the very bottom branches so it may be time to top her soon either this week or next. I think I may top her twice or three times, to help fill out the scrog nets I plan on putting up for flower. Love to be growing again after 5 years out of the game, and love the living soil method so far. Next grow I’ll maybe reuse this soil and amend it. Would definitely also buy some more if needed cause it works very well. Just to add, I got 50 northern lights #2 seeds from agseedco for my next grow and can’t wait to pop those after this hsc bbcc is harvested. Plan on not having to go to a dispensary unless I want to from then on. The quality for the price of legal bud is kinda insane here in MA, where the bud is all mass produced and great batches of actually great genetics are few and far between. Can you say over saturated?

Loving this organic grow so far. The plant has gotten so big, it basically doubled in size last week. I edited some if the pink light out of the photos so you can see the plant a bit better. I bought all the fertilizer I need for top dressing/amending the soil. I got coast of maine stonington plant food, CoM fish bonemeal, and naturegrow earthworm castings. I plan to follow the coast of maine feeding schedule, but I’ll probably start with half of what they say to use once I notice any sort of deficiency. According to their site my stonington blend soil is good for 60 days so until mid December, although I have seen people take it to harvest without any amendments in even smaller pots. Something about how fast and big the blueberry cupcake is growing tells me it will need something in flower. This strain is very lovely and easy to grow so far. My daytime humidity has been getting as low as 35 percent with no assistance so I brought my steam vaporizer in, which works well with a pinch of salt in the water. Just have to keep refilling it and once it is out of salt, it basically doesn’t do much. So I refill it multiple times a day if it doesn’t keep the humidity above 50 percent. Other than that, everything is going great. Watering once a day for 30 seconds keeps the soil moist without runoff so I haven’t stopped or changed anything. This week I am going to probably top the plant once I can see a bit more of the top nodes, then put up a net once we’re all done and start to prep for flower. Very excited.

Topped the top leaves and set up my net. Also topped the tallest side branches so I can get more colas for flower without waiting for the new branches to recover. After setting up my net I feel like I have a bit more time in veg left in her than I thought. At the moment she is filling up only about half the net, which makes me want to give it some time to grow. Also waiting on the new growth to come in from topping so I can train it under the net. Hopefully everything goes to plan. Seems like the topping stress slowed us down a little bit, but she’s doing pretty good. Went up to 60 seconds on the automatic watering when my moisture level reading went lower than 5 and it seems to be drinking it at a more controllable rate. Makes me think in flower it’s gonna need a lot of water. I’m unsure when to defoliate, and how much I’m gonna keep on the plant. Most of what’s on the plant seems pretty useful at the moment, other than maybe some tiny branches just coming in

Was a busy week, so was not as attentive this week, but the plant grew very well and the top branches are almost long enough to fit under the net. I wanted to take some photos of my 13 finger leaves to show you guys, which look really cool. The plant is almost ready for flower, maybe by week 8 of veg. I’m extremely impressed with the girth of the stalk, this plant is growing very vigorously. Hopefully she stretches a bit more this week. Idk if I should maybe raise my light to induce stretch? Can’t wait to actually smoke this strain. Hopefully we get a fat yield

Tied down some branches to help with the scrog. Also added 2 1/8 cup stonington plant food a few days apart. Gonna add worm castings too, then fish bone meal once we’re in flower. I think this is gonna be the last week for veg. Switching to 12/12 next Sunday or Monday. Then we’ll weave more of the branches as they stretch and grow. Had a bit of an issue with some light burn as my plant grew taller and I didn’t notice for a day or two but the new top growth looks great so I’m feeling relieved about it. ✌️

My plant is noticeably lacking nitrogen, a bit before Coast of Maine said it would be depleted. 10 gallon is sort of small for organics, but they gave it another 14 days in 10 gal than we got. Maybe my plant is just hungrier than usual. Flipped to flower last night. I made a non-aerated worm casting/molasses tea and top dressed with more stonington blend 5-2-4 on sunday. We’ll see if it greens up soon. If not we’ll just brew more tea and add more blend. Already seeing pistils emerge not even one day into flower, so that’s a great sign. Can’t wait to smell the buds

Flower week 2 day 2: You may not see it very well cause I haven’t taken any night time pics but the plant is much greener. I was able to correct the deficiencies. I top dressed fish bone meal and I got an aquarium pump so I used that to make actively aerated worm casting tea, which definitely helped restore microbial life in the soil. I really like the teas, they kick ass. The plant is growing vigorously, still don’t see any big buds but we’ll get there soon. Probably this week. I’ll keep ya updated

Did some low stress training using the second scrog net I just put up and wanted to show a great example of phototropism, you can see how I bent the branches and how they curled back up around the net 4 hours later. I love scrolling through the two pics to see it. I also top dressed once again with fish bone meal and used an aerated worm tea. Finally seeing the little buds forming! It’s so exciting. Glad I got to spend part of xmas eve working on it since xmas was so busy. Safe to say I had my own xmas tree growing at home lol. She is growing nicely, staying green, and filling out my 2x4. See you next week! EDIT: added another pic to show what I did tonight after posting, which was undertrim/skirting/stripping up the bottom whatever you wanna call it. I took all the lower wimpy branches, especially those below the net, off in favor of the taller and bigger branches. Have seen this make the top nugs huge in other grows so obviously will be beneficial to the scrog. Peace out!✌️

This week went well for the plant, her leaves have been praying and green and she just about finished the stretch with lots of room overhead for the buds to get bigger without light burn which I am so thankful for. I must have gotten a less stretchy pheno and worked it under the second net at the right time. Really kicking myself for not cloning her but I could reveg her potentially. The sugar leaves around the nugs are already covered in frost. Looks like I have a nute deficiency sort of but the yellow it is definitely from when I burned the leaves in veg. The top leaves and all nee growth are in fact nutrient abundant and the tips are burnt slightly. There are so many great bud sites. Interesting to me how the node spacing is various, branches in the middle and front of the tent have closer spacing. But the two branches from when I topped the main stalk have so many nugs on them so close together. I can’t wait to see what happens. I would consider us to be in the middle of week 2 of flower and entering week 4 of 12/12 cause she preflowered for a week or so, but we’ll be able to tell when she is done anyway. Loving this strain so much, and she is giving off the scent of blueberries already when I sniff the little flowers up close

Business as usual. Top dressed every 2 weeks, watered once daily, and doing defoliation as needed. The plant has been very healthy and focused on beefing up her flowers a bit. There are so many buds! I am super impressed with the frost on this plant. It’s giving off a faint blueberry like aroma. I can’t wait for her terpene profile to develop more

This week it was fun to watch the flowers grow. I love the purple coming in on the leaves, it looks so cool. My temps have been getting down into the low 60s at night so I was expecting it to turn purple soon. She smells amazing, very gassy and fruity at the same time. Mostly, she smells like one of those super gassy high thc strains right now, probably from the wedding cake genes. But I do get a hint of blueberry coming through underneath, so it could become more noticeable as time goes on. My nugs got fatter, they are not exactly as big as I think they should be but maybe with a bit of time they will get big. I gave her an extra worm tea this week instead of my usual every 2 weeks so hopefully that helps. Week 5 here we come

Basically it got real cold and dry here. Temps got down to high 50s at night and it was been a steady 30 percent humidity so I got a new humidifier and added a space heater to get a more optimal environment for flowering. Since then it has been right where I want it. I went with a levoit humidifier so I could use the vesync app to watch the humidity from wherever. The colas are extremely well frosted and pretty and the gassy/blueberry smell is now strong enough to smack your face a bit when you open the tent. Our nugs have gotten bigger and a few white pistils have turned orange, but I still think it needs two weeks or more. We’ll see

Had a scary start to the week, found springtails and applied diatomaceous earth to the soil. Not that they are super bad but watered less. When I watered today I saw only one so I think DE is working along with drying back. Loving my new humidifier. I can check while at work and adjust as well. Pretty crazy. It has been much less dry, but the nugs are still frost coated. I cannot wait. I think 2 or 3 weeks more, I saw a bunch of clear trichs last night. She has been getting some weight on her too

Pics from day 56. We have some cloudy trichomes, a few still haven’t gone cloudy but a few are amber as well. We may be harvesting by week 9 which is exciting. I have been giving her around a half gallon of water every two or three days manually watering the soil with a watering can. I occasionally give her a spurt of water with the drippers which we used to use exclusively to water, but around week 4 or 5 of flower I realized she needed more water than my drippers could handle. I think the new humidifier helped pack on bud size. Checked under the pot and noticed that there are roots shooting out the bottom. Super proud to take it to this point. This is a truly beautiful and amazing smelling strain with many other amazing qualities. Can’t wait to grow more

Almost ready for harvest here in week 9. Definitely thinking 60 days flowering is optimistic or more or less when to start checking trichomes. I have some amber coming in so I’m thinking day 70 may be chop day

Loved this grow, got 88.16 grams dry. I just wanted more in terms of quantity, so I got a new light yesterday. It is much more powerful, it’s a Viparspectra XS4000 400 watt. Next grow I’ll probably be doing from clones, so we’ll be testing that light very soon. Then after that harvest, I’ll hopefully have a lot of bud. If I do I’m gonna pop a bunch of my seeds, and I’ll be back for more posting
