Plant is looking good. Growth is very fast with this nutrient solution. The pH is rising no higher than 6.3. I aim to keep it pH'd to 5.9. I can visually notice growth each day. I take readings of the nutrient solution every day and adjust pH and ppm as needed.
The last week of the germination stage I noticed small orange spots on the lower leaves. In my experience, this means a Cal-Mag deficiency beginning. I began adding Cal-Mag at the beginning of the 1st week of vegetation, and this took care of the problem. New growth looks good.
At the end of the third week I removed leaves that were on the bottom. When I would open the grow pail for readings they would fall into the pail and get wet. I didn't want to risk diseased leaves so I removed them.
At the beginning of the 4th week, or 2nd week of vegetation, there is a smell when I open the tent for readings. There are hairs forming between the nodes.
