I germinate my seeds using seeds wrapped in paper towel and soaked with water with a small cap full of hydrogen peroxide mixed. I then place the folded paper towel in a plastic bag filled with warm air and place it in the dark for 48-72 hours.
Not starting off as smooth as I'd Like. My plants on the right hand side primarily under the SF-2000 Pro are growing as expected, the 2 plants primarily under the SF-4000 aren't doing as well. It appears I needed to turn down the light intensity some because I am already seeing yellowing and they are not nearly the same size as my other plants. In hopes of fixing this I have turned down the dimmer on my lights to almost 20% and raised both of the lights to 30 inches from 22 inches. I have also adjusted the light cycle from being on for 24hrs to 16hrs, For water I am using about a half gallon of luke warm water spread amongst all the plants twice a week.
This week is going as planned for 3 out of the 4. One plant is recovering from the early mishap and the other is really stunted. The 2 plants in good health I topped this week and they seem be doing alright, the other 2 plants I plan on leaving as is. I watered twice this week using 1 gallon each time, once with out any added nutrients and once with a tsp of Cal-Mag and Boomerang. The tallest plant has grown to 8 inches while the shortest plant is 3 inches. The lights are at 30% and about 25 inches away from the tallest plant.
Everything went well this week. The tallest plant has grown to 15 inches and the shortest plant is 4 inches. I watered twice this week once with nutrients and once without, using a gallon of water each time. I introduced Fox Farms Grow Big and Big Bloom this week. Lights are still at 30%
Plants have started to grow fast with little bud sites developing, tallest plant is about 19 inches while the shortest is a little under 5 inches. I watered twice this week once with nutrients and once without, using 2 gallons of water each time. I rearranged my tent to give my smaller plant more light seems to be working out. Trellis will be going up next week.
Never bothered with the trellis, 2 gallons was a little too much last time so I watered the plants twice this week using only a gallon of water each time once with nutrients once without. Buds have started, plants didn't grow much in height this week.
Had issues with leaves yellowing this week that seem to have started when I introduced Open Sesame last week. I have one plant that the leaves have turned dark green and started to become brittle. I believe I caused this by letting the plants grow to close to the light. I have raised the lights in hopes this helps the issue. I watered with once this week with 1 gallon of water. I did experiment with the plant that had the most yellowing by doing a flush with Sledgehammer. Plants haven't grown much in height but buds are continuing to develop.
The yellowing has continued, nutrient lockout is pretty evident. I watered once this week with 1 gallon of water. I have not reintroduced any nutrients I previously removed. Buds are continuing to develop I see little pink hairs sporadically on one plant and crystals forming.
Still battling issues but buds are still growing. It may be a little too late but I flushed 2 plants with sledgehammer after seeing the first one I flushed a couple weeks ago responding alright.
Everything is pretty much the same as last week. Temperatures dropped a few degrees at night causing some leaf color change. Buds are continuing to progress. I watered once this week with just Cal-Mag
I believe we are nearing the end. Had a multiday power outage this week that really messed with temperatures. Plants haven't really grown much. I Plan on giving a final flush later this week before the chop.
