Kakui Exotic Genetix: Event Horizon (x3) and Toasted Toffee (x3). Thug Pug Genetics: Peanut Butter Sunset (x3). Once they are transplanted to their final pot (5 liters), automatic watering will begin, drip to waste, and Crop Steering protocol. October 20 (15:30): 9 seeds soaking, solution of 2 parts reverse osmosis water + 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide, 5.8pH, 0.6EC, 28°C~30°C. Before soaking, the seeds were sanded to enhance water absorption. 21:30: Placed on paper towel with the same soaking water, inside an airtight glass container and on a heat mat at 28°C~30°C, to increase metabolic activity. October 21: Pre-loading the coco, with Athena nutrient solution at 2.0EC and 5.7pH, saturated until drainage, the drainage was 1.5EC and 5.6pH. 21:50: All seeds show radicle of different sizes (about 1cm), they are immediately transferred to the substrate. October 22: 21:10, all are already sprouting, maintaining the environment at 26°C~28°C and 70%+ humidity. October 23: 9/9 seeds sprouted, some Cotyledons are visible. October 24: (9:30) 8/9 cotyledons open, height between 3cm~5cm, seedling stage initiated. Toffee n3 stunted due to mishandling, I hope it grows even if slowly, if not, I will have to continue with only 8 plants. October 25: Toffee n3 is alive!!! I was about to remove it, and this morning it appeared without its cap, cotyledons out. Yay!! October 26: Today they had their first watering with Athena nutrients, 2.0EC and 5.8pH. Watered until drainage, the drainage was 1.9EC and 5.7pH. October 27: They are developing at a good pace, some have stretched more than others, heights between 4cm~7cm. October 31: Second watering, 120ml each, 2.0EC and 5.8pH, runoff of 2.3EC and 5.7pH. November 2: Growing at a good pace, heights between 5cm and 9cm. November 4: Watering 180ml each, 2.0EC and 5.8pH, runoff 2.8EC and 5.8pH, from now on they will be watered more frequently, I removed the first leaves, just for convenience in watering, likewise the first nodes and those leaves will be pruned soon. November 8: Watering 2.0EC, 5.8pH, 240ml each to increase runoff, runoff values of 3.0EC and 6.0pH. Heights between 9cm and 14cm.

Kakui November 11: First watering with 2.5EC and 5.9pH, runoff of 2.9EC and 6.2pH. In a week, they should be receiving 3.0EC and maintain that concentration throughout the grow. Heights are between 15cm and 20cm. November 13: Watering 2.5EC and 5.9pH, runoff of 3.3EC and 6.2pH. Today, the first nodes of each plant were removed, and they were given an apical cut. November 14: Watering 2.5EC and 5.9pH, runoff of 3.3EC and 6.2pH in the morning. In the afternoon, they were transplanted into final pots of 5 liters with approximately 4 liters of substrate, which was pre-loaded to field capacity, with 3.0EC and 5.8pH. From this point, we should wait a couple of days until the dryback of the substrate is 35-40%, which would be the first P3 of the grow. Once that drying percentage is reached, we will start with the first precision waterings called P1.

Kakui November 15: -Today the "Drip to Waste" irrigation system was installed, which will allow me to do precision watering with the "Crop Steering" protocol. -Moisture sensors were installed in the soil to know when and how much to water; the system sends soil moisture, temperature, and ambient humidity data, etc., via the internet to my phone. -Tomorrow we start with the first precision watering. November 17: Second day of automatic watering, 3.0EC and 5.9pH, the plants are growing at a good pace, the roots are already coming out of the drainage holes 2 days after transplanting. November 20: A small defoliation of the very large fan leaves was performed.

Kakui November 28: An aggressive defoliation and Lollipop was performed. From now on, in addition to switching to flowering nutrients, it will be watered generatively, with very little or no runoff, to achieve a longer dryback of about 22-23 hours, thus raising the substrate EC (pwec) trying to gradually reach 10EC. It's a controlled stress to make the plants more compact and reduce internodal space, basically creating more flowering points closer to each other.

Kakui December 7: The plants were moved from the veg tent (120x120) to the flower tent (150x150) where there's more space for the dehumidifier, fans, etc. We're still watering with 6.2pH and 3.0EC. A scrog net will be added soon. December 10: There are already clear signs of flowering, a first layer of scrog net has been placed, the Generative watering is going as planned, with small runoff reaching 7EC, expecting to rise to 10EC. With that controlled stress, the plants are kept at an optimal height to prevent excessive stretching. Until yesterday, the plants were getting 5 shots (waterings) of about 200ml each, until runoff was achieved. However, today there were 2 plants with "wilting," indicating excessive drybacks, so today we added 2 extra shots, also called P1, and 2 mini waterings of 100ml in the afternoon, P2, to prevent excessive drying and the decline of the plants, which are asking for more nutrients. The VPD is maintained at 1.2~1.4.

Kakui December 16: The runoff has reached 10EC, the plants continue to create flowering sites with short internodal spacing, thanks to generative stress, they are about 80~85cm tall. There is only one plant that is over 90cm. In about 2 more days, we will reach 21 days of flowering, and on that day, a big defoliation and Lollipop will be done; after that defoliation, we will return to vegetative watering to stimulate the fattening of the buds. December 18: Today the runoff EC reached 12EC, tomorrow more watering shots will be done to lower the substrate EC. An aggressive defoliation + Lollipop was also done today, to improve light penetration in the canopy and better airflow. There is only one week left of generative watering, after that we will return to vegetative watering to fatten the buds.

Kakui December 22: Today it went back to the vegetative stage, it was watered abundantly by hand with a watering lance to lower the substrate EC to vegetative ranges (3.5~6.0), runoff was obtained at 5.9pH and 5.0EC, in the following days the EC should continue to be lowered with more shots per day.

Kakui January 8: day 42 of flowering, a small and final defoliation will be carried out. The buds already show many trichomes and very strong smells, including sweet scents, peanut butter, etc. There’s one last week of vegetative watering left, after which it will switch back to Generative watering and at that moment the Core nutrient will be replaced with Fade, which no longer provides nitrogen, promoting the maturity of the plants.

Kakui January 22 (F55): There's only one week left to finish the grow, in these last days I'm using Fade from Athena Nutrients to help with ripening and improve flavors and smells. The LED light has been reduced to 50% and the irrigation water temperature has also been lowered. The smells are way too strong, I had to put in a carbon filter. For the last 4 days, I will only water with osmosis water + Cleanse.
