Just popped this little lady last week, she is looking nice now working on her third node. I will probably transplant next week sometime into her final home. The game plan beyond that, once she gets settled in, will be to top her and start working on her mainline structure. I haven't done one before so nervous a bit to fuck it up but I am pretty sure I can handle it and she will turn out some nice FAT buds. We will see have a ways to go so time will tell! Stay tuned....
Disaster struck for this little lady as I accidentally dropped her completely upside down onto the sticky fly paper in my tent. I snatched her quickly which of course ripped off a few of her leaves and left her looking tattered and torn. She has bounced back well from this traumatic event and seems to be pushing on just fine. I have just topped down to the 3rd node and cleaned everything below so the mainline structure is beginning to take shape. Will see how she does recovering and hopefully get her topped again here in the next week or so. I have never done this before so no real idea of the timeline. The key as usual is to be patient and just let her do her thang so we will see how it goes!! Stay tuned.....
So far so good for this little lady! She is growing well and very evenly! She has handled all of the toppings and bending etc very well so far as well. This week she should get her final toppings and then once she recovers from that we will switch up the light schedule and put her into flower! I am excited to see how these turn out and what effect the training has on their ultimate yields and everything else! The whole mainlining process has gone faster and easier than I originally thought! If it works out I would definitely use this technique in the future as it is not as intense or time consuming as I thought it might be going into it. We shall see!!
Going great this week almost done with all the training! Her structure is more or less set up and she’s done being topped. She’s got 8 tops now and looking great! At least one possibly two more weeks of veg then we will change the light schedule and see what this girl can really do. She’s handled everything so well so far I’m excited to see how she does in flower!
This girl is absolutely killing it! She has handled all of the toppings like a champ. We are now just letting her grow up a bit before we switch up the light schedule and get her to start flowering. I am loving this plant and envisioning the beast she will become in just a few weeks. Starting to get really excited!
Blew up this week! Since I’ve stopped with the high stress training she has really started to explode with growth. She has completely filled her pot width wise and is starting to grow up now as well. I just changed the light schedule as well so she should start flowering stretch and really taking shape in the next couple weeks. She is going to be a beast! Very happy with her so far!!
Going strong this week. She is starting to stretch a bit and still very healthy. The first few pistils showed up at the end of this week. I am trying Blue Planet Nutrients high yield system this round so we will see how that goes. They seem to be liking it so far. Planning on letting them grow a bit will probably defoliate and lollipop in the next week or so as well. So far she is looking great. I am excited to see what she does in flower and starts growing some buds. I have high hopes for this girl!
She is stretching out a bit this week and really taking her shape. I defoliated a lot of the lower growth except the ones that seem to be growing up in the middle and keeping pace with the main tops. She looks great right now the mainlining looks like it will be worth the extra effort plus it was fun! Like I’ve been saying I’m a sostoked to see how she does in flower. We are getting close to finding out soon!
She’s a beast! I’m leaving some of the middle growth so she’s more of a bushy mainline but I definitely removed a lot of undergrowth. Really stoked on this girl so far! She’s absolutely killing it I’m just excited to see how she performs and bulls up in the next month or so!
Buds are a poppin’ this week! All the bud sites are starting to make tiny buds now and she is looking great. She even smells a little already! I think she’s done stretching, so now I can hopefully sit back and watch the flowers grow. I either had the light too powerful or too close or both and her leaves started to spot like my Gorilla Glue did but I moved the light higher and I think she’s cool now. Anywho pretty stoked with her so far. Ready to see how fat and juicy she gets!
Buds are forming big time this week! Really getting fat and frosty. Starting to get an idea of how she’s going to look and I’m excited it’s looking like she might fatten all the way up. Definitely at least a month or so left to go but everything is looking on point right now. Very happy with this grow!
Another week in the books. This girl seems to be a little further along than her partner in the tent as her buds are starting to bulk up a tad bit more and she just seems to me to be closer. I still think she’s about a month away as well but we will see, I’m just guessing that she will be the first to go in the end. Just been trimming her here and there. Planning to do a couple more feedings and then hopefully we will just be flushing for a couple more. This girl is chunky! I’m pretty sure she will be the heavier yielder of the two but I’ve been wrong before. More pics to come soon!!
Pics don’t cover the full week due to the holidays so she really grew even more. This was a good week for her she’s getting really close now. I’m thinking 2-3 weeks more max and she will be ready. Her buds are getting fat and filling nicely an the trichomes are already mostly cloudy I’m debating feeding her again or just starting her 2 week flush now as I think she will be done by then. Loving this girl she’s had a few sensitivities to the light etc but overall been an easy one to grow. I think she will yield the most and be done the fastest so can’t complain about that. Will be back in a few days with new pics she’s frowns tonsi ce I took these prior to Xmas.
She’s pretty much ready to go now. I’m going to be chopping her down any day now. I’ll probably water her once more and cut her down a few days later. Trichomes look mostly cloudy with a few ambers just a tiny bit of clear ones. I’m pretty happy with her, but honestly at this point I don’t think the yields are going to be where I hoped it would. Definitely not going to top my biggest yields. The buds look sugary and dense though so hopefully the quality makes up for the quantity. I think the multiple toppings involved in main lining may have shrunk my colas a bit too much. Next time I might skip the final series of toppings and see if that improves things a bit. Definitely a fun grow overall I’m happy with it regardless but definitely taking some notes on a few things I think I can improve for future grows. Should have harvest results on her next post!!
Loving this strain! Definitely a night time smoke in my opinion. I have smoked this during the day and end up napping on the couch in the early afternoon. Very relaxing strain to smoke the kind that loosens up your whole body. The smell is coming on strong and she is super frosty as well. All in all one of my better grows! She ended up yielding more than I originally thought she would. Very pleased with this plant, definitely one I would grow again!
Overall this was a great grow! I decided to give mainlining a shot and all in all I think it came out great. I honestly don't think it improved my yield at all since I have had larger yields with just one topping and light LST, but it was still fun to do. I think next time I grow photoperiod plants I will skip the mainline though, not sure it is ultimately worth the extra effort. This plant took all the training really well and was able to bounce back quickly every time. I would say it is an easy strain to grow overall as it did not ever have any health issues or nute issues or anything really. Also trimming and defoliation on her was pretty minimal as well. So far I have grown a handful of Seedman strains and have been thoroughly satisfied with all of them so I am excited to get some more popped in the near future!!
