Germinated the seeds in closed container with soil at 26C and left them to grow for 1 week under Philips TL 33watt.
I could have saved a few seeds as i only have space to put 8 of them but i like to sellect the best ones ofcourse. I keep a few of them as spare ones in case 1 of the sellected ones is not doing well.
I prepared the slabs with EC1.4 and PH5.2 and after draining them they have PH6.3 and EC1.4 to give them a perfect start.
In the first weeks i only water them 2x per week as they dont use so much water yet.
As you can see in my other diaries... I am only growing Dutchfem Seeds because these guys are from my hometown Eindhoven and i always loved to smoke their strains.
So far they have never let me down, super friendly staff, very helpfull and next day delivery in Holland.

1st week of vegetation and they are doing fine. Another 2 weeks vegetation to go before i switch to 12/12. The Gelato Olandese is growing a bit faster than the MadMax Mimosa in the same tent but i will only top the Gelato's to keep them all at the same height in flowering.
The Gelato's Olandese (on left side) have grown a bit more than the MadMax Mimosa's (on right side) but not to much. Put on 12/12 and did defoliation this week. All good here! 😊
Due to a cold week in this tent, flowering started a bit slowly this time. I am trying to heat it up a bit this week and hopefully we will see better resuts next week.
I really f*cked-up... The PH meter i used was not calibrated for more than a year (lazy grower) and when i finally did i found out the ph in the slabs was ph4.5
Its works perfect if you like to grow colorful plants, but sucks big time if you want big healthy productive plants. Considering they had this super acid medium
they are still doing pretty well. At least the last few weeks since i added an extra SpiderFarmer SE3000, not only for extra light but mainly to get the temperatures up.
We had 2 very cold weeks in the Netherlands with lots of snow and ice so that didn't really help either. Now i am just gonna try an experiment to see how much thc
i can get on it.
they are recovering well from the mistreatment I gave them. The ph was way too low in the slabs because my ph meter was not calibrated. I will leave them for another week before I harvest them.
Last week of flowering has arrived. Despite the fwonderful and buds are rock hard. I am very satisfied with the result considering the mistakes I made. very strong genetics !act that I mistreated them considerably with a PH in the slabs that was far too low, they still finished flowering nicely. There is a thick layer of thc on them and they smell
Despite the severe beatings I gave these plants due to an incorrectly calibrated ph meter they still gave a fine result. From the moment I corrected the ph and added a 2nd (spider farmer) 300watt lamp they gained a lot of weight in the flowering phase. I really love this brand and have never had a bad plant from Dutchfem seeds. They have a great customer support and are really friendly and professional. They really helped me well with solving my PH problem. I will grow more Dutchfem Seeds for sure! 👌👍👏
