Started germinating on 10/22 in paper towel, moved direct into final pot after 48hrs and visible split on each. Lights on for 18/6 at 10% @ 24”
Tent - 68F/70%RH
All 4 have visibly broke soil on 10/26
Daily 10mL water for each in a circle
11/3 - 3 of 4 are progressing well, one seems to be a few days behind the others but healthy overall.
11/7 - 11/8 - Noticed a few gnats buzzing around, put out a sticky trap. Also covered topsoil with a layer of perlite based on what I’ve read and a local recommendation. - Side Note - do this outside of your tent in a well ventilated area. I added the perlite while in my tent with filter running, everything has a coat of white dust. 😳
Increased light height from 20” to 32”, increased intensity from 20% to 40%, each girl is getting about 400ppfd
Increased watering from 20mL to 50mL
Overall they are coming along, front right is straggling a little bit. Noticing that the layer of perlite is helping keep the soil from drying out too fast, may start watering every other day.
Started out the week at about 60mL plain water daily, ended week moving to 120mL every other day
All 4 are in identical growing medium mixture, get the same amount of water, and are within 5 ppfd of eachother... But it seems 1/4 isn't very happy. Could just be a different pheno from the others, going to ride it out for now.
Missed a few daily pictures this week, but oddly enough they just keep growing even if I don't check them every night 😂
120mL plain water every other day, will increase through the week
500ppfd to start the week, moving up towards 600 by end of week
11/19 - Decided to get my ScrOG ready, approx 4" openings using mason's line. Have some cable management to do this week, so I'll move the screen lower when I do. Also chose to tie down 3/4 to start training out, the runt is starting to catch up but needs a little more height before I tie her down as well. Patience. Patience. Patience.
11/22 - Changed my mind on LST, pistils are starting to show and I'm not wanting to stunt them like I did outdoors this summer. Thinking of just letting them go au-natural. Did some water experimenting this week, the runt responds within hours to a decent watering. Based on looks I assumed she was struggling due to being overwatered but seems to be the opposite.
11/23 - Upping to 300mL per watering every other day, working on a drip system to move up to .5L per watering every other on a timer attached to the pump by end of next week. All girls sitting around 625ppfd.
11/24 - Will be Adding Silica and CalMag to watering, 550-600ppm - Lighting Average 625ppfd
11/25 - Drip system in-place and usable. Waiting on my new AC Infinity 8-port controller, then I'll be throwing the pump on a controlled outlet. Figured out flow rate per minute, so I'm hoping I can schedule it to run once daily and essentially auto deliver a specific amount of water. Changed filter sock, there was a bit of residual perlite dust from when I added the top layer to the pots.
