-Intro: this will be the first single cultivar run that I have done (second try). It will consist of a potential 12 Green Crack from @ILGM, not sure how many will germinate because I have had them for about a year (hoping all germinate). Soil is reclaim from previous grows amended with @Build-a-Soil Craft Blend and Build-a-Bloom. Lighting is 2 IMV Sincere 100W LED and will be use for the entire cycle.
-11/5/23 Cultivar was chosen (ILGM Green Crack) and seeds were placed in water to germinate. Hoping that all push out there tap root in 2 days, the ones that don't will receive extra time while the others are planted.
11/6/23 none with tap root yet, moving into holding tent until they have tap roots.
11/7/23 morning: seen that some are starting to push out tap roots. will check later and then plant the ones that have tap roots popping out, the rest will be given extra time in water.
11/8/22 morning: placed the seeds with tap root in 3 gal pots, the rest are being left in water for another day.
Evening: another seed popped its tap root and was put in soil.
11/9/23 last three seeds still no tap root, put in soil and watered. If they don't sprout I will take them as a lose.
11/11/22 5 of the 9 seeds have popped out of the soil, hoping that the other 4 sprout as well. Will be adding photos tomorrow for beginning of first veg week.
11/18/23 12 seeds, 9 germinated, 5 sprouted, 1 seedling died. Upped plant to light distance and lowered light intensity (forgot to lower before they sprouted.
11/25/23 some doing better than others, P4 was given guider to help stay upright because it's top heavy. P1 is doing the best out of all the plants, hope the other start doing better within the next week.
12/9/23:
-P1: doing the best out of the 4, lots of branch growth. Will start training next week.
-P2: the farthest behind, has some branch growth but not much.
-P3: second best, branch growth but not as much as P1.
-P4: still a little mutated, had to move guider to help hold up the main stem. Might add more soil to this one to help hold it up.
12/16/23 started nutrients for all plants this week. Also removed the lowest set of branch nodes from each plant and will become potential clones. Removed a few other shade leaves from the main stem on all plants.
12/23/23 had to move plants location under the lights, P4 looks like it might have been in a higher intensity spot. removed all the shade leaves from the main stem except the top ones on all of the plants. Giving a week for recovery then the amount of darkness will be increased by 2 hours. week 9 will be the first week of flowering light cycle adding another 2 hours of darkness, then week 10 will be the first week of 12/12 light/night.
12/30/23 all plants got heavy defoliation, P1 still looks the best an P4 is vary one sided. Changing light cycle tomorrow by adding 2 hours of darkness. This week started 16/8 for light cycle, not claiming flower cycle yet.
1/6/23 all plants doing good, P4 still having some problems but should be fine for flowering. Changing to 14/10 tomorrow and week 10 will be the start of 12/12, claiming flower cycle starting next week.
1/12/23 all plants stretching nicely. P4 is vary one sided and P1-3 have similar structures. Starting 12/12 cycle tomorrow, still no pre-flower but should have signs by the end of next week. Hoping for at least 2 oz of or each plant.
1/20/24 soil dried out a little too much this week but should be okay now, will check tomorrow. All plants starting to get pre-flower. I am hoping for 3-5 ounces from each plant but will most likely get 1-2 ounces from each plant.
Post-note: somehow week glitched and added duplicates of some of the photos but they dont show up when editing this week.
1/28/23 all plants are doing great, lots of bud zones coming in. Will give a few more weeks before removing any shade leaves. Hoping I can get at least 1-2 oz off each plant.
2/3/23 heavy defoliation today because leaves on the lower half of each plant were dieing off. Hope I didn't remove too much, should be fine but it's looking like my yield per plant is going to be the same as the last few cycles.
2/10/23 sent starting to come in, all smell kinda the same except P4 has a sweeter sent. Another 3 to 4 weeks left by the looks of things, still need to get better at knowing how much to remove when lollie popping cus some of the lower stuff that I left on is starting to die off.
2/17/24 No nutrients this week, all plants got their smell now but P3 is sweeter than the rest. P4 still having some problems with the shade leaves but buds look fine. Looking like they will need more than 8 weeks of flower to finish
2/24/23 smell is strong now and they all kinda smell the same except P3 is sweeter. Should only be like 3 to 4 weeks left, looking like they will have a few fat top nugs.
Post-note: had to add 6 more plants in third week flower to this space do to problems with the space they were in.
3/2/24 well had to chop P3 because of spider mites on two tops of branches. The others got a defoliation to lessen the chance of spider mites spreading. All plants are starting to fade with purple coming in.
3/9/23 the last three are doing good, all starting to get powdery mildew, removing leaves but it continues to come back. May harvest more in the next week or two.
3/16/23 going to harvest the las two tomorrow, I just cant continue to strip leaves off because of powdery mildew. They both smell amazing and did better than expected.
3/1/24 P3: had to harvest early because spider mites at the top of to crown buds. This thing smells amazing, can't wait to try smoking it. Will check in 3 days, hoping to have it trimmed and jarred in 5 days.
3/6/24 P3: still not ready for trim, needs to hang for a few more days. Will check again in two days, may need more 7 day hang dry.
3/8/23 P3: trimmed and jarred today, still kinda wet so may need a longer cure.
3/10/23 P2: harvested today because of powdery mildew, forgot to take photo.
3/17/23 harvested the last two plants, should be ready for trim in 7 days.
3/17/23 P2: trimmed and jarred, has a mango citrus sent. Still kinda wet so expecting a longer cure time.
3/23/24 P4: trimmed and jarred
3/24/24 P1: trimmed and jarred
4/15/24 P2: spotted with white fungus,
