Germination
3y ago
GEORGE_21 On 09/05, germination starts on paper, and on the 10th, it sprouts in an 11L pot, accompanied by mycorrhiza. This will be a summary, as I don't have images and I want to share the experience of my sixth grow in a 2-door closet with dimensions of 70 cm, a depth of about 40 cm, and a height of 1.80.

GEORGE_21 This week everything is good, increasing the humidity with a basic humidifier and daily misting several times a day, the water balance was 250 every other day per pot.

GEORGE_21 Hey, as I told you, I'm new to diaries, I lost images from weeks 2, 3, and 4 which were basically the vegetative stage. Here’s a summary of those weeks: in week 3, I applied a Pony LST to both plants, basically tying down the main apex so that the others get light, I fed them with 2 ml of Bio Grow, and increased to 500 ml of daily watering. By week 4, it was 750 ml for each plant, and in week 4, I did the first defoliation. Everything is good, very healthy. This week 5, I applied pre-flowering and flowering fertilizer, and they were taking 1 liter of water a day. I set up oscillating ventilation to lower the humidity at this stage.

GEORGE_21 Week 5 / week 1 of flowering, I’m still watering 1L daily for each one, they are very healthy. I increased the fan to level 2 and opened the window to keep the humidity in the closet below 50. All good!!

GEORGE_21 Defoliated for the third time, 6 or 7 days after the second, and I think that was a huge mistake :/ I lowered the water consumption to 500 daily and it started to flower without strength (from what I see), plus it got stressed for a while, mistakes to learn from in order to keep improving.

By removing the leaves, you reduce photosynthesis, which means that plants pump less water from the roots. If you continue to give them the same volume of water, you can drown your plant a little. Increase the light a little to raise the photosynthesis level and possibly raise the temperature of the room to evaporate the water more quickly. Let the soil dry out a little more than usual and adjust the amount of water in each watering according to the volume of foliage. Next time, defoliating when the soil is a little dry will reduce the problem.

GEORGE_21 Week 8 of the autoflowers, and week 4 of flowering, I notice that the plants aren't fattening up much.. What do you all think? I've removed dry leaves, I'm still watering 1 liter to each plant every other day, next week I think I'll feed for the last time to then wash the roots for two weeks.

GEORGE_21 Week number 9, they look good and are almost at their end, I think it will be the last week of nutrients and I will do a root flush during the next 2 weeks, weeks 10 and 11. Then I'll cut.
