Bugsby98765started grow question 3y ago
problem with my banana purple punch… the true leaves never formed once the cotyledons emerged from the germination. strangely, the roots are still growing and the seedling is still ok, but not sure if there is a technique that could prompt more leaves to grow?

So brother, I noticed that this little one is genetically modified and you can tell by its shape. The three things that come to mind are: - make sure the soil is always moist because from the photos it looks very, very dry; you need to give water in the right way and in the right amounts for the plant; - bring the plant closer to the lamp since it looks like it’s stretching; - point 3, but a bigger recommendation is to do cropping below the main top; this not only strengthens the plant but also allows the leaf structure below the point you decide to crop to develop!! Let me know if you solved it.

It's young. The roots will establish first before you see growth. It will start changing soon. Be patient.

I don't think you've got enough light power, given the way your plant is stretching out and not developing enough.

Bugsby98765 strawberry pie is growing nicely, with strangely large fan leaves, but the banana purple punch just couldn’t get past the cotyledon stage 😢.

Bugsby98765 Nice growth this week, things are moving along nicely. Only observation: these are huge leaves on this strain.

Bugsby98765 Travel for the holidays led to a lapsed watering schedule, but happy to report that this girl bounced back about six hours after a good, long soak. Massive leaf drop, but I’m not mad at it. kind of curious how this will impact flower (probably slight delay as the plant diverts energy to regrow fan leaves?) Either way, happy she survived.

Bugsby98765 Trucking along, happy to see her thriving and in flower after the great under-watering of week nine. Traditionalists may scoff at LST for autos, but i’m really happy with the number of calyxes developing here. Don’t have a close up but an interesting feature of this strain are these thick, opaque stigmas, excited to see if these portends future bud bulking in the weeks to come 🤞🏻.
