Mac 1 has been running for a long time now very successfully harvested 6x now? I lost count. Yes, it does just keep getting better with new flavors in the mouth each round. The last 2 rounds introduced a very noticable GRAPE that I was never noted In any previous round. I think cap says in his diaries his perfect Mac 1 has notes of cherry to taste.
It's the most rich, fruity doughy like smell you will ever touch. As soon as Mac 1 starts to develop trichomes that smell will shortly follow the entire way through flower. It develops buds early in growth and fast however Vegetation is at its own pace which isn't exactly fast or slow just steady. Very strong, always has slightly saggy leaf ends but the leaf stem will be sturdy and level when happy, never praying.
Branches out nice and really needs light to penetrate the canopy. It would probably TRIPLE it's production outdoors vs indoors if not more. And basing that on both indoor and outdoor grow times being manipulated the same so flipped at the same time and vegged the same, this would do very well outside. As for pest I don't know. It's not resistant to spider mites as I have had them before HOWEVER it tolerates them to some degree. I have managed to rid them each time the last year with a new method that's so easy yet effective.
Remove your plants from your tents or rooms, hurricane them with your hose and I mean hit em hard top bottom and sides, shake em and do it again ! Then Clorox your room down the best your can. Clorox wipes are best. Get all your equipment. Walls, floors. Then return the plants. They have only ever returned 1 times 1-2 weeks later, I did the same process and boom gone never to be found again. They get so pissed they leave if u don't get em all.
Now it's neen oil through veg and u probably won't ever see them. They will avoid the plants like the plague but if they are already on your plants and have moved in cozy, neem won't make them leave necessary or kill them so u will need to do more work.
Trimming is fairy easy but some leaves wrap over and through the buds but alot of people smoke that it's covered!
Super super dense buds I mean. Like an 8th is a couple small buds.
Yields are on the low to medium side.
Not the best yielder compared to others but it's well worth the finished plant and you can veg for 4-5 weeks after its rooted and going, flip and get 2 + footers spread out, topped 1-2x and manipulated some to get a 100-110 day turn around from the time its rooted. Everytime like clock work, the bud gets better as you do too.
This will be on average 2-3 OZ per plant in a 2x2 space you can tighten up to get more per area but that's just easy for you all to understand.
1 plant 3 or 5 gallon pot with that amount of time, on a good run you will get 2-3 oz. It takes much more tips or massive side lighting to get more. I'm working on side lighting now and seeing some extra development from 1 to another in the lower sections so this could boost yield. (2 plants in a 2x2 vs 1 does not really yield any different because of the place you take from each) easier to do just 1. Better quality yield or shave 2 down very thin as I did but again little difference in yield I got 3 exactly from 2 plants because the space was the same.
KEEP IN MIND IF YOU ARE INDOOR LED YOU MAY YIELD MORE AS I HAVE BUT YOU WILL NOT WANT THE BUD THATS BELOW 8 INCHES FROM THE TOP FOR SMOKING. SO WHEN I SAY 2-3 OZ THATS SMOKEABLE FLOWER THAT YOU WOULD JAR FOR YOURSELF. I DONT SMOKE THE STUFF DOWN LOWER THAT ISNT AS DENSE. I REMOVE IT OR LEAVE SOME FOR HASH MAKING.
Do not try to leave 15 inches of bud on your branches you will get poor results from that bud. Tops are it. You may keep some lower branches but only leave the top bud on the branch during flower so it can develop the same as the main tops.
Thanks for reading
@HydroHerb420,thanks! Glad you followed along to see the difference too. It really is more mature looking and just overall better. It's been super consistent.
Appreciate it!
@BudBoutique,thanks!!! Ya the title didn't sound right. I meant I have been keeping the clone cut going for some time now. I think more than 2 years by now. Several successful runs this is probably round 6 I think!?! Haha I have smoked a lot of this mac1 this round and the round prior to this both developed a grape flavor now that had never been found before! So super cool to keep finding changes in the same clone cut. Appreciate it!
