Removed wicked sour 5, and ioncannon 5.
Plants have been subjected to stress in the form of feeding high and then starvation, goal was to check for stability of drought/dryback along with nutrient deficiencies and try to induce any hermetic changes, so far the tent passed with flying colors and I can’t locate any sudden pollen sacks.
Ioncannon 1 very thin stems, yet it’s strong and relatively resistant to bending despite its appearance, buds are coated and smell exactly like the blue beam lineage, it feels wet to the touch yet leaves no residue when touched. A potential cut for breeding but probably not best for the grower who is expecting yields.
Ioncannon 2 is starting to form buds tightly along the meristem. It’s going to be an insane yielding cut, the branches are sturdy with the right amount of bounce back to them to ensure they don’t break, after repeated hst I can no longer bend the stems.
Ioncannon 4 possibly the perfect mixed phenotype leaning 50/50 in structure, it’s greasy yet not sticky. Stems are very resilient yet bendable.
Ioncannon 6 is growing very similar to the parent of azula (blue beam#2) in structure, its main branches are strong and unbending, inner side branching is still flexible. Heavy yielding and with budding structure similar to the beam it makes it one of my favorites so far. It’s just very healthy.
Ioncannon 7 with structure similar to the hog and great trichome coverage it’s pretty decent, I’m not a fan of the distance between nodes and buds however, very flexible yet rigidly standing stems.
Wicked sour 3 has large beautiful classic indica structure and pure white pistols. Stem is decently strong but leaves more to be desired for my liking. Smells slightly like pine.
Wicked sour 2 is growing is the same formation as ioncannon 1 and is less desirable but the buds seem to carry more sour diesel structure so I will have to determine if I keep the cut based on effects. Stem is more rubbery if that makes any sense, has a bit of bounce back but will snap hard if hard force is applied suddenly.
Sundown, stems are weak and bendable and capable of snapping, main stem is ridged enough but side branches require support for full development, has a classic cookies bug profile with fans to support the look. Buds are extremely dense, it’s a medium to low yielding cut but I will definitely be keeping this one around, something about it is speaking to me.
Bonus, doggystyleX(unknown)Chem - using doggystyle from mass medical (putang s1 x chemdog91) I took the best pheno in the pack and crossed it with an unidentified chem cross, branches are unbending and extremely sturdy, nugs are extremely compact in the center with some slight fluff from the strong pistols, this cut is leaning in the middle with structure borrowed from both the putang/pupil structure along with the chem, overall good yielding plant and no signs of hermetic activity.
Wow buddy!! super nice buds
What an amazing grow so far - good job and well done 🤝
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
