I think 🤔 they KNOW it's winter. Seeds have been sitting for a while too. Whatever the case, my 100% germination streak has ended. Had to put another in towel. Good thing I got the 5 pack. Like to see 3+1 packs for the same reason.
Giving them the myco+ with water instead of with their nutrients like I did before. Also, starting them on it right away. Looking for a furry white mycelium greeting and then I'll stop the myco+ and switch to rapid start during waterings. Don't want things getting moldy/musty smelling and affecting the taste of the buds.
Very dry week for them but they seem to be holding up ok. I had over watered them last week so everything is kind of evened out.
Alternating rapid start and myco+ during watering.
Some skunky smell coming through already.
Never got my myco+ bloom. They really seemed to like the rapid start and their first bit of nutrients with some fish head farms.
So far so good 👍
they look like they are starting flowering.
I am tempted to raise the light more but my light is not so strong and with it being winter, I think they like the warmth. Will keep the light around 12 inches and will be raising it the next week or so as they are gaining at least an inch every day it seems.
Christmas portrait 🎄 of the girls.
They are flowering quite quickly. I am encouraging the stretch by raising the light and getting ready to get a fan in there to blow them around a bit. That seems to slow them at first and then they gain renewed vigor.
Put some fish head farms in their water to start the week as that always seems to perk them up.
Very light defoliation so far of the leaves they don't want towards the bottom.
No need for LST on these so far. They have a skunky smell coming through now and trichomes are appearing.
These are small plants so far. Can't wait to see how they fill out over the next month.
Not seeing any more stretch. They have responded well to the last defoliation.
Alternating nutrients and water with Fishhead farms.
It feels like the Fishhead farms offsets the damage inherent with the nutrients.
Starting off the week with Fishhead farms. Lots of trichomes coming through. Haven't needed to do any LST this grow, it has been pretty hands off and low maintenance.
These appearing almost white with trichomes now. Used the last of the Fishhead farms and the terps have been going for two days. Just going to do phed water between nutrients for the next couple weeks before the flush.
Looking at maybe bringing the heater down a notch and testing another nutrient line to try and help the look of the leaves. Ultimately, they probably just need a humidifier but I don't want to put one in the space so am looking at alternatives to improve their health.
Not sure how much longer I want to hold off on chopping these. Starting to use just PHed water.
A really sweet strawberry smell is presenting itself in the tent.
Impressive how a plant so small could have such solid buds all over. If I run again it would be Sea of Green style. Beautiful little plant with tasty buds
