I realized that I set the grow light to 50% instead of 25% so some of the tops of stems turned red, however I don't think it stressed the plants too significantly. I have pictures of the red stems in the next week.
Transplanted to 3 gal pots at the end of the week, most plants are on their 4th node and working on the 5th. I think I'm going to increase the light levels in the next week.
Realized that I have had my grow lights turn off for 8 hours a night instead of 6 for the past few weeks, probably why I saw less growth then I expected. Probably going to veg for 8-9 weeks to make up for slow growth, and unless I get another grow light I will probably have to kill 2-3 of these guys later in veg.
Yeah I’ll probably be in veg for 10 weeks or so, I made a couple mistakes and I’m unable to control the climate for my plants so growth is bound to be slow. I’m not too upset though because I have lots of time before outdoor season this May and I don’t think I could fit a harvest in between. I’ll have to decide between growing 2 big plants that I veg for a while or grow all 4 but keep them quite small, but I’m not sure what would yield more. I’m attempting to main-line for the first time so let me know if I’m starting off right.
Good week, seems like growth has picked up. It seems that one of the plants is flowering, which I’m not surprised by because I bought the seeds for cheap as the seeds had been contaminated with auto flower seeds of the same strain. Obviously because of the terrible growth of these plants and the multiple toppings and LST, this auto is going to be very small. Idk if I will keep it and see what happens or if I will switch it out for the 5th plant that I have that is incredibly behind. I think it would be interesting to see how it turns out and to have a head start on some of the bud, but I know it’ll probably only yield a minuscule amount.
